On Wednesday evening, Capcom announced that initial worldwide shipments for �Resident Evil 6�, the latest installment of the acclaimed franchise, have surpassed 4.5 million copies, the highest ever for a Capcom game.
For comparison, Capcom shipped 4.4 million copies of "Resident Evil 5" in 2009. Earlier in the year Capcom revealed that the company is expecting to ship 7 million copies of "Resident Evil 6" by the end of their fiscal year -- March 31, 2013.
