In mod normal cablul hdmi transmite si sunet si video, insa la pc placa video si cea de sunet sunt separate, de aceea la un monitoarele cu boxe au intrare pt video( cablu cu mufa VGD/DVI sau HDMI) separata de intrarea pt sunet (cablu cu mufa jack).
