Bloody Palace and weapon packs available today, Vergil's Downfall date confirmed

Today's a big day for DmC fans. In case you haven't been in on the loop, the long-awaited Bloody Palace Mode, which features some 100+ bonus levels of demon-slaying action (video after the jump!), will be available today for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The mode is completely free, and comes alongside a title update which retweaks a few details of the game for a better experience. Details on the update can be found here.
Additionally, you can now purchase the Gold, Bone, and Samurai weapon packs originally only available as preorder bonuses. They are going for $0.99/80 MSP each or $1.99/160 MSP for all three.
Meanwhile, I'm happy to say that we now have a firm release date for the expansion content, Vergil's Downfall. The expansion, which features hours of completely new content starring Dante's katana-wielding brother, will be out on March 5th for PS3, and PC, March 6th on Xbox 360. Not quite as soon as our initial estimate, but that's just two weeks away! Expect new story, new weapons, new moves, new enemies, and new locations for $8.99, or free if you got the GameStop preorder bonus.
You can also expect a Bloody Palace leaderboard showdown in the near future. Prepare thyself.
