Ubisoft va opri developmentul pentru Xbox 360 si PS3 anul viitor

Desi in momentul de fata putem vorbi de aproximativ 15 milioane de console "next-gen" vandute (10 milioane PlayStation 4 si 5 milioane Xbox One), de la Ubisoft vine o veste destul de ingrijoratoare pentru cei 150 de milioane de posesori de PlayStation 3 si Xbox 360. Acum cateva zile, CEO-ul Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot, a afirmat intr-un interviu acordat celor de la Game Informer ca desi anul acesta e inca ok developmentul pentru consolele din generatia veche, de la anul vor trece spre noul hardware. Nu stiu daca si alti developeri vor urma acelasi trend si vor opri developmentul pentru PS3 si X360, insa avand in vedere ca totusi vorbim de console care au deja 8 respectiv 9 ani... eu cred ca era ceva de asteptat. Practic in felul acesta putem spune ca atat PS3 cat si Xbox 360 se vor apropia de ciclul de 10 ani.

Those of you who still game on an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 shouldn’t be surprised by this, new hardware is out and developers want to move on.
