ZombiU rises from the ashes of Killer Freaks From Outer Space [Update: More info!] | Joystiq

Ubisoft unveiled a brand-new title during its E3 presentation today: ZombiU. It's actually the evolution of Killer Freaks From Outer Space, which we assume isn't a thing anymore. Outside of a brief CGI trailer, Ubisoft didn't have much more to reveal on this Wii U exclusive.

Update: Ubisoft sent over a press release on ZombiU, describing it as a survival-horror first-person shooter. It's in development at Ubisoft Montpellier, the same studio responsible for From Dust, Beyond Good and Evil and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. ZombiU takes place in London during the year 2012 after a zombie outbreak as the last remnants of humanity fight to survive. ZombiU also features "a unique death mechanic that puts players in the body of a different survivor each time they die, allowing them to track and take down their old, infected characters, recover their equipment and see if they can stay alive just a little bit longer this time."

It appears that Zombie gameplay is being taken to a new level with Zombie U.
When you die in Zombie U, you actually die, you don�t respawn, instead you re-appear as a new survivor in a the same horrible situation you were in, then you must go and find your previous character to get your supplies back. Secondly there are no checkpoints or replays which makes this game even more eerie.

unele idei la Wii U mi se par super bune: folosirea inventory-ului ca sa gasesti lucruri, sa deschizi usa si sa vezi daca e ceva prin zona, scanari etc, dar unele mi se par cam fortate (cum ar fi folosirea sniper-ului) si altele cred ca isi vor pierde rapid din farmec cum au fost si la PS3 de ex (la inceput mai toate jocurile iti cereau sa scuturi maneta ca sa te eliberezi de ceva, dar acum cate mai au un astfel de sistem?).

Ce ma enerveaza pe mine e in primul an de lansare al unei console, developerii vor sa foloseasca CAT MAI MULTE FEATURE-uri in joc (daca ar putea si ar avea logica le-ar folosi pe toate): accelerometru, touch screen, touch-pad, vibratii etc, dar dupa un an si ceva ajung la concluzia ca alea nu erau cine stie ce si ca au decis ca e mai bine fara (de ex. Uncharted 1 si Killzone 2 aveau tot felu de functii folosind six axis-ul: lipeste o bomba miscand maneta la stanga si dreapta, arunca o grenada lasand maneta pe spate si dupaia spre fata si tot asa. Acum aproape nici un joc mai nou din seria aia nu mai are vreo astfel de functie...desi unele imi placeau destul de mult).

p.s. la maneta de Wii U chiar nu imi place pozitia analog-urilor. Ar trebui sa fie sub D-pad si toate cele, nu deasupra. In video, in mare parte nici nu prea folosea analog-urile (sau poate asa mi s-a parut mie ).

Tudoran , poate vor sa arate capacitatea maxima a controller-ului. Sti tu , sa vada si cumparatoru' pe ce da banii.

Chiar imi place cum e facut traileru' , iti da asa o senzatie de real... Mai ales cand zice : How long will you survive?

Cred ca o sa fie un titlu super pentru WiiU.
