Ed Boon, creator of the Mortal Kombat fighting games, has been twittering about the next in the series, promising it will feature "sick", "M-rated" violence.
"People want an M-rated MK... dammit we will give them an M-rated MK," Boon told his followers on Twitter, after revealing that the game - which he refers to as MK9 - was far enough into development for motion-capture sessions to be taking place.
"Motion capturing special moves & fatalities today....they are kind of sick !!" said Boon, before adding, "Carlos & Rick O. doin some kool fatalities. I hope we aren't taking these too far."
"Still...they are sick. :\ "
Boon said the licensing pair-up of last instalment, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, would not be repeated. "MK9 isn't going to have Superheroes in it," he said. It would be a nostalgic game for fans of the series, he suggested. "I think players are definitely going to get the 'warm & fuzzies' when they see, hear, play and 'discover' the next MK."
Mortal Kombat 9 has no platforms or release date as yet.

Multumesc pentru raspuns. Am auzit ca ar exista lag la mortal kombat 2 online ... de pe ce cont ar fi mai bine sa joc de pe cel de USA sau UK ?
Lag-ul din joc nu tine de acest aspect. Poti sa il joci si de pe cont de RO si este posibil sa ai lag sau sa nu.
Jucam impreuna daca vrei si nu e nici un pic de lag intre noi. Sa-mi lasi ID-ul de PSN.
Poate jucam si noi Cata in weekend un Mk2. Poate si un MKvsDC daca il ai.

ok ID-ul meu este dmj82mrx ... am jucat in seara asta... lag la greu, am turbat de draci ... sper ca daca jucam din aceeasi regiune nu o sa mai fie probleme. Deci va astept la MK2 . Sa facem si un tournament, sper ca Ed Boon sa mearga pe acelasi film cu Street Fighter-ul asta nou.

Laurentziu ID-ul de PSN. Care vrea sa mai joace MK2 sau MK vs DC va astept oricand cu placere. Asta asa in asteptarea noului joc.
