Analyst heavyweight Michael Patcher as at his crystal ball again, this time dishing out the controversial prediction that Epic's Gears of War series will come to PlayStation 3... eventually.

Speaking to Game Trailers, Patcher pointed out that Epic is no stranger when it comes to the PlayStation 3 hardware, "we pretty much know that Gears of War 3 is probably gonna' come out on PS3."

The reasoning behind Mr. P's prediction is that Microsoft probably has a two game deal to keep the first inevitable Gears of War sequel Xbox 360 exclusive, but after that Epic's free to put it on whichever console it likes.

It'd be a big stir up if Gears 2 ended up on PS3, but will anyone really care by the time the third one comes out?

Just like GTA and Resident Evil before, we reckon Gears would've spent most of its worth by the time it goes multiplatform.

atata timp cat microsoft va avea o implicare in ce priveste GeOW, nu va ajunge pe vreo consola lansata de competitori... cum nici GoW`u celor de la sony nu va veni vreodata pe X360... si chiar daca ar ajunge GeOW 3 si pe ps3... xboxu mizeaza pe alte avantaje care ies in fata... pretul mai ieftin... LIVE`ul... deci nu mai o datzi de gard ca daca microsoft pierde un joc bun inseamna ca 's`a ars' PS : am folosit GeOW ca sa se poata diferentia de God Of War.. da epic, developeru lui geow este 3rd party daca se enerveaza oricand pot face jocu multiplatfroma (ii deja ) dar pe toate platformele , la fel se poate si cu mgs4(daca vor sa taie jumate din el).Pe cand God of War este facut de un developer ce este cumparat 100% de sony.
Dar ma indoiesc ca geow3 va fi pe ps3, 90% din utilizatori de ps3 only nu or jucat deloc si nu prea se intampla multe, bine nu ca ar avea un story complex dar totusi.Pe langa toate astea microsoft nu va lasa cel mai bun exclusiv al lor sa ajunga si pe ps3.

pachter asta a mai spus ca si mass effect ar trebui sa fie multiplatform mai ales ca EA a achizitionat bioware, mai bine seria mass effect decat gears, oricum gears nu cred.gears=microsoft iar halo l-am jucat si sincer nu imi place la fel si primul resistance. gears e mai bun decat astea doua. nu sunt fanboy imi spun parerea.PS: eu am ps3

Da spune-ne te rog de ce 90% din userii de ps3 nu ar juca acest joc? De ce?? Eu unul as fi incantat sa pot juca gears pe ps3 si nu cred ca sunt singurul. Poate ai vrut sa zici altfel, 90% ar vrea sa-l joace pe ps3, sa fim seriosi, e un joc foarte bun.

Nu am Xbox360, dar am terminat Gears of War pe PC asa ca nu as fi in urma cu povestea .
Din partea mea,atata timp cat acestea nu sunt downgrad-ate, toate jocurile sa fie multi-plat. (in afara de Tekken )
