Hai sa mai dam un pic de culoare acestui thread (si si la altele daca tot veni vorba ). Ce parere aveti de jocul acesta? Are potentialul de a deveni un WoW Killer? Eu ieri ma certam cu un prieten care zicea ca The Old Republic va primi aceasta "mentiune" dar sincer sunt de parere ca daca va reusi vreun joc sa faca asa ceva atunci va fi Guild Wars 2. Pe langa ca e free-to-play spre deosebire de celelalte doua MMO-uri, sincer acesta pare sa aduca cea mai multa inovatie (ador ideea combat-ului in apa ). Daca ar fi sa ma apuc de un MMORPG (calumea...so to speak) atunci de GW 2 m-as apuca (oricat de innebunit as fi de Warcraft 3, cartile, povestea in sine, universul Warcraft si toate cele).

Voi ce ziceti? Wow killer sau nu? Si credeti ca o sa se descurce mai bine decat The Old Republic?

Mesmer revealed as final Guild Wars 2 class | VG247

According to the Guild Wars 2 Twitter, the final class available to Guild Wars 2 players is the Mesmer. NCSoft had embargoed the reveal for this Wednesday, but a video made its way online anyway. Before its removal, the jubilant Mesmer fanbase got word of it, so there’s no stuffing the cat back in the bag. Expect a full reveal with trailer and details laster in the week. The MMORPG is expected to launch in 2012.

asa cred si eu . Va face o concurenta destul de serioasa celor de la Blizzard si BioWare... desi nu am jucat nici un GW pana acuma, vreau neaparat sa joc unul dintre ele (fie 1le + expansion-uri, fie direct 2). Lumea, rasele, povestea, system-ul de combat (mai ales cel in apa) ma fascineaza

Guild Wars 2 un joc pe care il astept cu mare nerabdare eu fiind un mare gamer al mmo`urilor.Guild Wars 1 l-am jucat o perioada indelungata de timp si chiar mi-a placut. Iar guild wars 2 cu siguranta va aduce multe noutati si sper sa fie peste toate mmo`urile ce exista in momentul de fata .Wow am jucat 5 ani de zile si imi este scarba de acest joc din cauza celor de la blizz care efectiv si-au batut joc de acest joc care candva il jucai cu cea mai mare placere si nu te mai saturai de el,iar in legatura cu SWTOR e trista treaba la lvl 50, stai si pierzi timpul, iar aspectul ultimului set de armuri e de toata jena... NCsoft still “looking at various options” for a Guild Wars 2 release on consoles | VG247

According to GuildWarsInsider which listened in on the call, the firm is still “in the preparation stage”
for the game, but at present, “nothing has been finalized yet” but it’s still “looking at various options” for the MMO’s release.

NCsoft even touched upon the beta for the MMO, confirming that large-scale testing will start in March and April, and depending on the results, “a finalized commercialization schedule will be determined.”

The firm will also take “seasonality factors” into consideration for the “final commercialization” of Guild Wars 2 and Blade & Soul.

ArenaNet announced the beta time frame in January, and promised the game would be released this year.

Via Twitter, NCSoft a anunțat că testul beta pregătit pentru Guild Wars 2 va avea loc la finele lunii martie, iar invitațiile vor fi trimise către persoanele care au fost selectate pentru acest beta �n viitorul apropriat. �nsă, av�nd �n vedere interesul enorm pentru această sesiune de testare, �n 48 de ore fiind trimse peste 1 milion de aplicații, este foarte posibil să existe jucători ce ce nu vor fi selectați.

ArenaNet has posted a look on its blog tiled Inside the Collector’s Edition – Making of the GW2 Book as well the making of the Rytlock Figurine, both of which are included in the collector’s edition of the game. If you click the images on each page, you can read more details on each offering such as the creation of the Mesmer class, as well as an up close and personal look at the Rytlock Figurine – which is bad ass. The pre-purchase program for the MMO is now live, and while there’s still no exact release date, it’s out sometime this year.
