Totusi, daca mi se permite intrebarea, what's the point? Nu e mai usor win key+e si gata? De ce ai nevoie neaparat de scurtatura pe taskbar?

Windows 10 replaces XP as the second most-used OS in the world:

Market analyst firm Net Applications has revealed new data showing that Windows 10 adoption rate is going stronger than the last few months of 2015. Going up from 9.96 percent in December, Windows 10 is now on powering over 11.85 percent of devices in January, a growth of 1.89 percent. After the initial launch hype in July-August, the OS has managed a growth rate of approximately 1 percent every month. January saw an accelerated adoption rate, possibly because of the post-holiday hike in new devices.
The new operating system has not only seen the biggest growth after August, but also has managed to surpass Windows XP to become the second most-used OS in the world. The new figures reveal that Windows 10 is now running on 11.85 percent of devices, managing to win over Windows XP which is running on 11.42 percent of devices worldwide.

Microsoft released Windows 10 PC cumulative update and an Insider preview for Mobile last week. Yesterday we heard that Windows 10 Mobile will receive another preview build 10586.104 slated for a release next week. New report now claims that Windows 10 PC too will receive a cumulative update carrying same build number. Remember, Insider program is separate from the general cumulative updates pushed out to all the users.
No new features are expected to be part of this upcoming cumulative build as it is to bring usual bug fixes and performance improvements. Some users have been reporting random reboots and performance lags after the last cumulative update was released on Wednesday, last week. The upcoming update might bring a fix to these issues among other enhancements to the PC and Surface line. The Windows 10 PC cumulative update 10586.104 is likely to release on the coming Patch Tuesday, February 9, according to WindowsCentral.
Microsoft released Windows 10 Redstone build 14257 last night, while Windows 10 Mobile Insider members are currently testing preview build 10586.71, the same build number for the last Windows 10 PC cumulative update. With reports of Microsoft testing Windows 10 Mobile 10586.104, it’s very likely that the desktops and tablets too will receive a new cumulative update carrying the same build number.

Not nice, Microsoft... not nice!

    Nah Windows 10: Forbes Welcome.

"in an eight hour period Windows 10 tried to send data back to 51 different Microsoft IP addresses over 5500 times. After 30 hours of use, Windows 10 expanded that data reporting to 113 non-private IP addresses. Being non-private means there is the potential for hackers to intercept this data. I’d argue this is the greatest cost to owning Windows 10."

"the testing was then repeated on another Windows 10 clean installation again with all data tracking options disabled and third party tool DisableWinTracking was also installed which tries to shut down all hidden Windows 10 data reporting attempts. At the end of the 30 hour period Windows 10 had still managed to phone home with data 2758 times to 30 different IP addresses."

    Jeez!

    Use it!
Windows 10, Microsoft’s latest upgrade to its operating system, comes bundled with telemetry and tracking services that are enabled by default. While the company is insisting that it was 'not spying' but simply trying to enhance the program by understanding what users do, Windows 10 is constantly collecting users’ data, sharing Wi-Fi passwords to contacts (albeit with encryption), and collects data and usage patterns exhibited by every user of Windows 10.
But don't be fooled, even older versions of Windows shared some information with Microsoft. So, your sense of privacy and security may have been severely compromized for a long time without you knowing about it.
But all your suspicions may be resolved because now there is Phrozensoft Windows Privacy Tweaker that easily restores all your settings to it maximum safety levels. Use it and you have no more issues about your privacy or online safety.
    We take care about that.

Ronan, e safe ăla? Tu îl folosești? Dupa ce am făcut la început restore point, nu văd de unde naiba trebuie să dai comenzile alea. A trebuit să debifez manual tot ce trebuia

    No frate
Microsoft is reaching out to Linux developers in a way that the company never has before. "The Bash shell is coming to Windows. Yes, the real Bash is coming to Windows," said Microsoft's Kevin Gallo on stage at today's Build 2016 keynote. The announcement received an uproarious applause from the crowd. The new functionality will be enabled as part of this summer's Anniversary Update to Windows 10.
"This is not a VM. This is not cross-compiled tools. This is native," he said. "We've partnered with Canonical to offer this great experience, which you'll be able to download right from the Windows Store." Third-party tools have enabled this sort of thing for years, but a direct partnership between Microsoft and Canonical should offer even more flexibility and convenience for developers who prefer using these binaries and tools.
