The Agency for PlayStation 3 & PC : Exclusive Interview Art Director Corey Dangelt's safe to assume that James Bond isn't a big massively multiplayer online game player. Sure, he has probably dabbled with World of Warcraft on one of those long flights from England to Russia, but we doubt orcs and paladins are really his thing. No, if he were to jump into an MMO, he'd probably wait until The Agency comes out. This MMO shooter from Sony Online Entertainment Seattle looks to provide a new take on the persistent online space by trading medieval fantasy for espionage, gadgets, and cocktails. We recently paid a visit to SOE Seattle's offices to see an updated build of the game in action.
This game is the project that folks at Sony Online Entertainment Seattle have been waiting their entire career to make. They have been planning a unique concept to for this game to bring an action MMORPG to the console market. The PlayStation 3 is the first console that has a dedicated hard drive in every single unit and so the time is finally right to make this game. Tonight I'll finish my hands on preview (Last night I was too tired from playing games.. I am a bad blogger) but to tide you over I have an interview with Corey Dangel, the Art Director at SOE Seattle. He is a swank cool guy and the perfect choice to design a spy game like The Agency.

The Agency will offer players the opportunity to follow a campaign with friends or jump in and start shooting people. You can choose between agent and mercenary, each requiring collecting skills and equipment to access new areas and objectives.
Computer-controlled operatives varying in skill are crucial to completing missions. They never rest and can even be traded amongst players.
What makes The Agency live up to its name is the ability for players to create their own agency by recruiting members, and even joining with other agencies to build powerful organizations.
