    Yakuza: Of the End

Kazuma revine intr-un spin-off cu zombie.

Yakuza 5 titled, detailed -- PlayStation Universe

SEGA has slapped an official title on its forthcoming PS3 Yakuza project, confirming the game will be known in Japan as Ryu ga Gotoku: Of The End thats Yakuza: Of The End to us westerners.

In addition, the developer also lifted the lid on six supporting characters that will play a significant role in the sequel. They are as follows:

Tetsuo Nikaido (a member of the Oumi Clan), Tomoaki Nagahama (a wicked individual affiliated with the Tojo Clan), Misuzu Asaki (Yakuza: Of The Ends heroine), DD (a character shrouded in mystery who holds the key to the games story), Oya-san (restaurant owner), Daigo Dojima (a returning character from the second game).

Joining the above will be series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, as well as familiar faces Goro Majima (a regular since the series inception), Ryuji Goda (Yakuza 2) and Shun Akiyama (Yakuza 4).

SEGA is expected to divulge a heap of info on the game at the Tokyo Game Show next week, so stay tuned for more details.

Kill Bill actress starring in upcoming Yakuza game | Joystiq
Chiaki Kuriyama may be most well known for her terrifying roles in Kill Bill and Battle Royale, but she'll soon become more familiar to gamers as "Misuzu Asaki," the heroine in the upcoming Yakuza title Ryu ga Gotoku: Of the End. Sega revealed her role to IGN and handed over a couple of images for comparison -- one of Kuriyama in the recording booth, another as her in-game character (oddly, this is the first actual image of the game that we've seen).

Yakuza To Go All Resident Evil
What do you think the next game in the Yakuza series is going to be like? If you guessed "A Resident Evil-y romp through the streets of Kamurocho," you're right!...

Details begin to appear for Yakuza: Of the End | Joystiq

Andriasang has rounded up all of the details announced about Yakuza: Of the End so far, giving us a bit more info than "it's got zombies in it and it's really weird." Of the End takes place in a Kamurocho that is quickly becoming infested with zombies, causing Japan's Self Defense Force to close the district off and leave the remaining survivors for dead. Four gangsters from previous Yakuza games, including series hero Kazuma Kiryu, decide to take up arms and clean out the town rather than allow themselves to be eaten. Also, complicating matters, Kazuma's adopted daughter Haruka has been kidnapped.

The "Heat Action" finishing moves from the series have been replaced by "Heat Snipe" moves, which grant increased accuracy with guns when launched. Each character has a different weapon with which they are most proficient: calm Kazuma is a rifle expert, while nutjob Goro Majima is best with shotguns. In addition to these four characters, you'll be able to pick up partner characters -- including hostesses from hostess clubs -- all of whom can be trained at "Gary's Boot Camp."

Perhaps strangest of all, the usual Yakuza distractions will be back. In the midst of a zombie invasion, you can play some arcade games in Club Sega, hang out in batting cages, or even perform karaoke. Don't worry, those booths are soundproof, so the groaning undead outside won't bother you when you're concentrating on your song.

VG247 Blog Archive Yakuza zombie release gets Japanese date
Famitsu’s confirmed that Ryu ga Gotoku Of The End, the next game in the Yakuza series, will release for PS3 on March 17 in Japan.

The title features stalwart characters from the rest of the long-running game property faced off against zombies.
See a trailer of it here.
The apocalyptic nature of the game may be appropriate: enigmatic lead developer of the franchise, Toshihiro Nagoshi, has confirmed he and his team are working on a new title, Binary Domain, for 360 and PS3.
    Thanks, 1UP

VG247 Blog Archive Yakuza 4 being released in UK on March 18
SEGA has announced a release date for Yakuza 4 of March 18.

Previously, the game was just down for a “spring” release.
The game’s story sees regular main character Kazuma step aside from the role, with three separate playable characters in “their own compelling back-story and a gripping interwoven plot”.

Defapt este vorba de http://www.consolegames.ro/forum/f15...98-yakuza-4-a/. "Of the End" nu s-a lansat nici in Japonia inca (pe 17 Martie o sa fie disponibila varianta japoneza).

Posturile astea ar trebui mutate in threadul corespunzator.

Sunt 2 jocuri diferite. Yakuza 4 și Yakuza of the end. Ultimul e cel cu zombie.

Titlul original: Ryu ga Gotoku: Of the End

Yakuza of the End gets new June 9 Japanese release date | VG247
The game was originally due to launch in mid-March, but was delayed following the recent Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
Now it’ll hit this summer, missing a new spring date.
Sega’s also confirmed that a portion of the proceeds from the game will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross.

...in rest n-am nimic de comentat (repet, deocamdata)
