Jocul o sa fie free abia in toamna, momentan e tot cu plata... asa ca joaca wow linistit
Pai voiam sa incerc trialul,sa vad cum e.
Mentorica mi-a spus ca a jucat trialul.
Eu am participat la 3 Beta-uri ale jocului in urma cu 2 ani (parca) inainte sa iasa. Imi aduc aminte ca eram destul de dezamagit de faptul ca era prea WoW like, joc care nu-mi place deloc. Stiu ca m-a prins pana la un anumit punct, dupa care am "cedat" si l=am lasat
L-am luat cam cand s-a lansat, mi-a placut, dar m-am lasat pentru ca nu prea aveai ce sa faci si pentru ca comunitatea nu prea era stabila, ultima data l-am jucat acum 7-8 luni si schimbasera mult in bine, acum am auzit ca il vor face free, ma intreb ce va inseamna asta pentru comunitate.
"Free" Ei o sa castige pe alta parte .
Am primit si eu astazi invite la closed beta, dupa ce o sa-mi downloadeze jocul (Estimated Time: 5h). Am sa revin cu impresii despre noul (vechiul) joc.
Prima impresie: la account creation se incurca, ba zice ca numele este ok - ba ca nu este ok.. si in plus nu ma lasa sa folosesc Google Chrome cand ma inregistrez - te obliga la Mozilla sau Internet Explorer... acestea merg mai mult de o groaza: Serverul de la myaccount.turbine.com nu răspunde suficient de rapid.
F2P launch of LOTRO delayed in Europe
Codemasters has delayed the European free-to-play launch of The Lord of the Rings Online in order to better prepare its infrastructure for the massive influx of new and returning players.
Book 2: Ride of the Grey Company and the Store are now up on the US end for head starters, but the European launch will be later than expected.
“We are really pleased with the performance of the game and excited about the response to Free to Play from our players,” said Michael Rowland, Codemasters online producer.
“Given the complexities and challenges faced in the preparation and implementation of the new store to work within our infrastructure, we feel more time is needed to deliver the high level of service our players have quite rightly come to expect.
“As a result, we have decided to delay launch to ensure that we can support the massive increase in players that we are anticipating and deliver them a Free to Play experience like none other.”
The update to the game adds the new Store, and the area of Enedwaith, along with the addition of level 20 skirmishes.
So far, the Store is offering stat increases, cosmetic clothing, buff items, mounts, extra wardrobe and shared storage space, emotes, destiny items, housing decorations, and loads more. Eventually it will hold around 2500 different items.
Players will earn Turbine points for completing deeds and certain quests, and if you happened to gain reputation with some of the different factions in the game before the F2P went live – the second you log in, you will earn points for those deed completions.
No date has been set on the relaunch in Europe, but we’ll send a mail to see how long of a wait you can expect.
Jocul este f2p de vreo 10 zile , este foarte ok ,nu-l recomand celor care nu au rabdare si joaca doar pentru grinding , in rest dca v-a placut atmosfera din Gothic 1,2, Oblivion 4 , lotro chiar merita incercat, grafica f buna ,gameplay excelent, ce sa spun, cei care au citit cartile sau au urmarit filmele o sa fie atrasi de joc pentru ca urmareste destul strans firul povestii, dar pentru unu care nu are treaba cu lotr o sa fie un chin XD, pt mine cel putin ( nu sunt jucator de wow ,dar in rest am jucat cam tot ce e f2p si tine de mmorpg) a fost destul de greu, avand f multe lucruri in plus fata de un mmorpg normal. Pe scurt , parti bune: nu mai e problema de lipsa de playeri, sunt destui acum cu varianta f2p, cea mai buna grafica dintre f2p- concureaza serios cu cele p2p,questuri ok,respectarea hartii si a tinuturilor descrise de tolkien cu f multe detalii,cel mai bun sistem de crafting intalnit,o groaza de profesii etc cam atat mi-a venit acum in minte , si parti mai putin bune deocamdata: restrictia de lvl la 50 pt f2p, membrii au limita la 65, si cateva pachete de questuri care mna.... o fi el f2p dar lumea a dat bani seriosi pentru ele pana sa devina f2p asa ca nu sunt pretentii - partea buna in toata in zona asa nasoala a restrictiilor este ca ca poti obtine turbine points( moneda cu care cumperi de pe shop online) prin anumite questuri iar lucrurile nu mai par asa imposibile pentru f2p , de exemplu e problema cu mount ul, ai la lvl 5 24 de ore un mount si apoi iti mai poti cumpara la lvl 20 dar trebuie neaparat sa cumperi cu tp riding skill de pe shop costa in jur de 95 tp - adica pana la lvl 20 faci rost ,cand am spus parti mai putin bune m-am referit in mare parte numai la restrictii ca in rest nu am ce sa reprosez, va astept in joc , poate facem un Kinship(guild) de romani
, astept si sa va dati cu parerea ( dupa ce jucati )
Pentru cine este interesat de el, l-am vazut in Media Galaxy la mesele de oferta la 30 ron.
Eu mi-am cumparat mai demult un LotRO Mines of Moria si inca e sigilat fiindca stiam ca va fi f2p, dar din cate am inteles este expansion... deci nu-l pot instala pe acesta? trebuie sa-mi cumpar si LotRO ?

L.E.: Ok acum l-am luat, Dementor poate ne vedem in joc, ma mai inveti niste lucruri.
Daca s-a mai apucat sau vrea sa se apuce cineva de LOTRO sa ma anunte. Suntem mai multi romani care jucam pe US version pe realmul Imladris. Daca intrati, dati un /tell Ellindel, Deceneu, Burebista, Merfedir, Indurin, sau intrati pe channel de romaniaAvem si kin(guild), etc
Ca idee jocul este aproape free de jucat, bani de investit mai nimic intrucat acele turbine points se pot castiga in joc pentru a le folosi pe Store pentru a debloca content.
Va astept!
PS: Ofertele sunt mult mai tentante pe US decat pe EU.
