Din cate spune domnul Todd Howard, noul engine e cu mult mai bun decat cel folosit in Fallout New Vegas sau alte jocuri lansate recent. please forgive my scepticism![]()
Skyrim's Engine A Major Jump from Oblivion and Fallout 3 | PlayStation LifeStyle
During an interview with OPM, Skyrim’s Director, Todd Howard, showed his excitement for what his team’s upcoming game will offer to fans of Bethesda’s RPGs, and explained what will make the game a major improvement over their last few releases:
From Fallout 3 to Skyrim we’ve rewritten the majority of the engine
Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas all ran on a very similar Gamebryo build that did its job, but has been known for its bugs and clunky gameplay. Everything that seemed to have had any negative impact on the previous games appears to have been tossed into the wind with the arrival of a heavily upgraded platform known as the Creative Engine.
But what about design changes? Howard continued by explained how the karma system will also see a huge facelift:
Instead of a karma number like Fallout, we do it on an individual basis. We don’t track ‘the right or wrong thing’. It’s who you made happy and who you made sad.
Focusing relationships rather than using a global meter will allow for a higher degree of choice, as you will be able to decide who you want and don’t want to get along with. So no more issues with feeling like you have to lean one way or another from the beginning of the game.
Skyrim Pushes Level of Extreme with Group Cannibalism | PlayStation LifeStyle
InterestingBethesda have a long history of granting choice to players at a level that very few other series of games can compete with. While the obvious results are the option to control the build of your character, as well as what you choose to do at any given moment, it also entails cannibalism, and Skyrim is no different.
According to the entry for Skyrim on BBFC’s website, Bethesda have once again found room to include cannibalism in their latest game. The rating details state:
A section where you make the choice whether to join a group of cannibals in eating human flesh.
Bethesda are no stranger to the many facets of cannibalism. Vampirism was a major element in the last Elder Scrolls game, Oblivion, where you could become a vampire either by choice or accident, and consequently had to avoid sunlight and feed on victims regularly. Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are even more extremely examples, and featured health regeneration for those who acquired a fine taste for “strange meat”, and included vendors who sold human flesh at a bargain price. However, engaging in group cannibalism is on an entirely new level of extreme so don’t be surprised if the entire game is more child-unfriendly than you expected.. Now there's something you don't see everyday (not in a video game at least)
