Darksiders achievements unlock special items in sequel
Vigil Games and THQ have announced that you�ll be able to unlock two �awesome� in-game items within Darksiders II if you have completed or played Darksiders.
Players who played the first Darksiders will unlock the Pauldron of the Horsemen in Darksiders II. This level 5 legendary armor piece boosts all Death�s stats as well as his critical damage. Gamers who have finished the game on any difficulty will also earn a level 1 legendary scythe called the Chaos Fang which will boost Death�s damage and critical damage.
The in-game item unlocks are based on Achievements you have unlocked. So if you haven�t completed Darksiders you might want to make it happen asap.

The first review of Darksiders II is in, courtesy of German magazine Consol Plus. It handed out a 93% score.
Consol Plus praised the game�s deep loot system, dungeon design, puzzles, and epic as well as complex boss battles.
The magazine apparently mentions that Darksiders II offers arenas that are filled with monsters and mini-bosses of the realm you�re visiting. This aspect is extended online through leaderboards. Players will also be able to take the title online with loot sharing.

Darksiders II Crucible mode revealedVigil Games has announced a new feature for Darksiders II and it will allow you to send your friends in-game items.
The developers are calling it Darksiders II's "Tome" system, it acts as the title's in-game emailing system. It will allow you to send messages to your friends and you can even attach up to four pieces of armor or weapons to each mail to trade or share items.
One important thing to remember though, once you attach an item and send it to your friend, it's removed from your inventory and delivered to theirs.
This game keeps getting better and better!A brand new mode for Darksiders II has been revealed – Crucible Mode.
The new mode unlocks within the game once Death has been deemed ‘worthy.’ The mode will allow Death to take on waves of enemies based on those that he has already met along the way.
After five waves Death will then be given a choice of accepting a gift and walking away or face up to five more battles. You gain exclusive weapons and equipment in this mode, as well as experience points. It’s a huge mode with the potential to unlock some fantastic weapons.
