It hasn’t been explicitly confirmed whether the project will be a movie, TV series or something else, though CD Projekt Red will be collaborating directly on the project with Garret Kemble, Anonymous Content Studios’ head of television.

Also involved in the project are director of development Ryan Schwartz and chief creative officer David Levine. In his previous role as HBO’s co-head of drama, Levine oversaw production of True Detective, Westworld and True Blood.

CD Projekt Red says the project is at “an early development stage” and a search for a screenwriter is currently ongoing. “The project will be developed in close collaboration with the Cyberpunk 2077 creative team,” the developer says.
