Saints Row IV is a Smashing Commercial Success: More Than One Million Units Sold Through in the First Week
Incredible 3:1 Ratio in PC sales over Saints Row: The Third
LARKSPUR, CA, August 28, 2013– Already hailed as a critical success, Deep Silver & Volition's Saints Row IV has had a breakthrough commercial achievement as more than one million units sold through in its first week of retail availability. In the first days of availability, the PC version of Saints Row IV more than tripled its first week's sale numbers over the prior release from THQ, Saints Row: The Third.
Saints Row IV is also leading the charts in almost all major European countries in the first week of its sale. The game has already garnered the top spot in the UK, Germany and Benelux (on all platforms).

In addition to outstanding consumer reception to the game's launch, media also recognized the fantastic game experience that Saints Row IV has to offer. Destructoid.com awarded the title a 9.5 out of 10 score, calling it "one of the best open world sandbox games." The Escapist gave the title a perfect 5 out of 5 score and said Saints Row IV was, "hilarious, action-packed and fun to play," while USA Today called Saints Row IV gameplay "an amazing experience."

Saints Row IV's online community at SaintsRow.com saw its registrations increase by a million in the first week alone, amounting to more than 1.3 million user accounts for the game in total, with custom content flooding in at 806,908 pieces of brand new user-generated content since the release of both the wildly popular character customization app Inauguration Station and Saints Row IV itself.
