Tales of Symphonia Chronicles anuntat pentru PS3

Desi e o serie destul de necunoscuta, sunt sigur ca cel putin cativa useri se vor bucura de aceasta stire: Namco Bandai a anuntat ca lucreaza la un pack numit Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack pentru Japonia si ca va contine HD remake-urile la Tales of Symphonia (PS2) si Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (Nintendo Wii). Acesta se va lansa la niponi in data de 10 octombrie. Noi (restul lumii), vom fi nevoiti sa asteptam pana in 2014 unde pack-ul se va numi Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.

Siliconera sustine ca acest HD pack va contine cut-in-uri noi pentru Artes si costumele din Tales of the Abyss. Namco planifica de asemenea sa lanseze un "Lalabit Market" limited edition ce este compusa din joc, 5 figurine, un roman si box art-ul desenat de cei de la Ufotable. Toate acestea pentru doar 9,980 yeni japonezi (aproape 75 de euro). Nu stim daca vom avea o editie asemanatoare in Europa sau America de Nord.

In late February, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles finally launches in the west. This PlayStation 3-exclusive compilation combines what is arguably the most popular Tales game in the entire franchise – Symphonia – with its Wii-era sequel, Dawn of the New World.
We’ve had the final collection at IGN for the better part of a month, and we’ve finally sat down to play the beginning sections of both games. The end result of the several hours we spent with Chronicles is the video preview, which you can watch below.
The long and the short of it is that Tales of Symphonia Chronicles – which is a remaster, and not a remake – appears to faithfully port both the original Symphonia and its sequel to PlayStation 3. The familiarity of the first game in particular is refreshing; Symphonia’s story might not be anything to write home about, but its characters and battle system are well-remembered for a reason some 10 years after its GameCube release.
Both Symphonia and Dawn of the New World are unlocked right off the bat, so you can play either game in the order that you want (which is nice, if you just want to play one or the other, but not both). Both games require time to install, so be ready to wait a few minutes when you begin either title. And prepare to earn Trophies, too, as both games have full Trophy rosters, complete with two Platinums. (And like Xillia, these Trophies aren't easy to earn!)
