Kevin Eva, managerul comunitatii online pentru SEGA in Europa, a confirmat zvonurile potrivit carora Yakuza 3 va ajunge si in occident. Nu s-a dezvaluit o data de lansare, dar stim ca jocul va ajunge pe rafturile magazinelor in luna martie 2010. Jocul s-a bucurat de un succes imens in Japonia, reusind sa vanda aproximativ jumatate de milion de jocuri. SEGA a mai confirmat faptul ca jocul va avea voice castul original, in japoneza, care va avea o subtitrare in engleza. Gary Knight, directorul de marketing pentru SEGA in Europa: “Yakuza 3 was one of the most requested titles for localisation by our European SEGA community, so we are delighted to be able to fulfil their wishes with this announcement. As well as delving even further into the rich narrative of the Yakuza universe, the development team have pushed the PlayStation 3 hardware to the limits to produce a beautiful and startlingly realistic depiction of the Japanese underworld”.
