Halo Anniversary va fi un remake HD a primului Halo lansat original pe Xbox in 2001. Acesta se va lansa pe Xbox in data de 15 Noiembrie 2011 si nu fa fi creat de Bungie ci de 343 Industrier.

Halo Anniversary will allow players to switch back and forth between classic and updated graphics in real time, because the game is essentially running two engines simultaneously.

Executive producer Dan Ayoub IndustryGamers that Anniversary will feature a �classic mode�, accessible via a controller button.
To achieve this, 343 have the game�s original engine powering the gameplay, with a second one, created in collaboration with Saber Interactive, running on top to make everything beautiful.
Making this work is said to have been a �tricky process�. You think?
In not building a completely new engine, 343 is sticking to Frank O�Connor�s vow that the new Halo developer will �never try to replicate what Bungie did�, and will �never ignore the roots and foundation of what makes Halo successful.�
Halo Anniversary is due in November on Xbox 360. Halo 4 will follow in 2012; it�s said to start a �new trilogy� for the series.

Halo: CE Anniversary is using 3 engines

So that�s two engines in the single-player campaign � the new graphics engine and the original Halo: CE engine � and one for the multiplayer � the Reach engine

The coolest addition though is definitely being able to switch between the new impressive HD visuals and the old skool 2001 visuals at the touch of a button

Gameplay

� absolutely nothing, it should handle exactly the same as it did 10 years ago, and that means that even all the glitches and bugs from Halo: CE won�t be fixed. Not because they�re lazy, but because 343 didn�t want to mess with anything in terms of gameplay that could change the experience even one iota

Another new feature from a franchise perspective is the inclusion of Terminals, but unlike Terminals from iterations gone by, the Anniversary rewards will take the form of cool little videos that you can feast on. The Terminals will be more accessible and easier to find than in Halo 3 according to 343, and they will be used to tell the story of the Halo ring. If you find them all, 343 hinted that they�ll use them to lay down the foundations for the recently announced Halo 4.

Multiplayer

the multiplayer aspect of the Anniversary experience will consist of 7 fan-favourite maps from the original title, rebuilt using the Halo: Reach engine in stunning HD with a few interesting and visually impressive tweaks on how they�d originally look

Pfiu da ce frumos arata, cred ca si uit de BF si COD daca pun mana pe asta .
Am vazut ca zic producatorii ca doar engine-ul de la REach e folosit doar la multiplayer, dar mie mi se pare la fel si cel de singleplayer.
Si mai urmeaza un Halo dupa lansarea asta, pfiu excelent .

Lasa ca mai au timp sa anunte si un collectors. Mai sunt aproape 5 luni pana la lansare...destul timp if you ask me.
