Many PS3 titles have forced owners of the console to install countless GB of content unto the hard drive, this eats up precious space and some gamers just don’t like the long periods before the process is complete. Many have concluded that a game as huge as Final Fantasy XIII must demand an install unto the PS3’s hard drive. They’re wrong, there’s good news.
In a recent interview with the EU PS Blog, the question was posed to the two masterminds behind Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, asking whether or not there’ll be a need for it.
“There will be no installation, the game runs directly from the disc.”

Nu vrei sa stai 5 min la inceput pana se copiaza? nu instalezi (ca la TEKKEN6). Dar la jocuri de genul asta unde joci 100h, 20-30s in plus la fiecare trecere in zona noua... install-ul merita de 1000x ori. Sa nu mai zic de "frecatul" discului care oricat de fiabil ar fi, orice menajare nu poate decat sa-i faca bine.

During a chat with with the EU PS Blog, FFXIII’s Yoshinori Kitase and director Motomu Toriyama revealed that the game may help “resurrect” the Japanese game industry.
“Some people have been saying that the Japanese game industry is dead, and all that… I dunno,” was the reply. “I will say that Final Fantasy XIII is one really epic title for high definition consoles. With this game, we are going to resurrect the whole thing”.

Answer (Yoshinori Kitase): We don't know how possible it is to build the game in 3D but we are interested in it. In fact, we have already created a 3D Final Fantasy XIII trailer, which is currently showing in Japanese cinemas alongside the film Avatar.
Currently, that's only available in Japan, but there might be an opportunity for a wider release in the future.

Mai sa fie au facut ei aceeasi poza in acelasi moment al jocului cu acelasi demage la inamic in acelasi loc dar pe 2 platforme diferite. Hai sa fim seriosi... Astea 2 poze sunt bune de pus la concursul de diferente.Chiar arata identic pe ambele platforme.
Intrebarea este, de ce ar face asa ceva? Am inteles ca pozele au fost trimise chiar de SE, deci argumentul fake iese din discutie. Ramane decat varianta ca sunt pur si simplu idioti, daca se asteptau ca lumea sa nu observe.

Yoshinori Kitase, producer of the soon-to-be-released Final fantasy XIII, has praised PS3's capabilities, saying the machine helped envision the game.
"The PS3 is definitely a spectacular machine and the team was really able to realize its visions for the characters and graphics, and at the same time, were able to have big onscreen battles going on," he told the PlayStation blog. "The PS3 hardware was something that really helped envision the game."
