Spec Ops: The Line este un nou titlu dezvoltat de nemtii de la Yager Development, jocul fiind anuntat de 2K Games. Spec Ops: The Line va fi disponibil pentru PS3, Xbox 360 si PC, fiind al 9-lea joc al seriei si primul dupa Spec Ops: Airborne Commando, lansat de Gotham Games in 2002.

The Line va fi un third person shooter si va fi dezvoltat cu ajutorul motorului grafic Unreal Engine 3. Actiunea va avea loc in Dubai, intr-un scenariu apocaliptic care a distrus orasul. Jucatorii vor face parte din trupele speciale, avand de luat o serie de decizii care le vor pune la incercare bazele morale.

Membrii echipei care lucreaza la noul Spec Ops au mai fost implicati in dezvoltarea seriilor F.E.A.R. si Splinter Cell.

Spec Ops: The Line Multiplayer Details | IncGamers

In an interview with IGTV, Davis said that although the company weren't focusing on discussing the multiplayer gaming, there would be a comprehensive multiplayer.

"What I can tell you is that we have a number of really interesting team-based and co-operative modes that are all going to tie directly into the storyline of the campaign."

One of the game's focus is the you-can't-do-anything-wrong mechanic. In a nutshell this means that any decision you take in the campaign's set pieces which require you to act immediately, will never be the wrong decision. Davis says that not only will this offer players a better gaming experience, but it also allows for the exploration of those decisions within the multiplayer game.

"Maybe you saw some events or made some decisions in the single player campaign that actually you learn more about, and the reasons and effects of those things, in the multiplayer as well."

2K’s started taking names for a multiplayer beta of Spec Ops: The Line.There are no guaranteed places on the taster, which will be 360-exclusive, but you can try to get on. Do so here.May as well, you’ve got nothing to lose.The game, a reboot, takes place in post-apocalyptic Dubai, where a Delta Force squad needs to extract one of its founding members.Spec Ops: The Line releases next year for 360, PS3 and PC.

Spec Ops: The Line demo now available on PSN and XBL Gold | VG247

2K has announced the demo, featuring portions of two early chapters in Spec Ops: The Line, is now available on PSN and for Gold members on XBL. The public all other XBL users can try the demo May 15. The game is out on June 26 in the US and internationally on June 29 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Interesant. Grafic nu impresioneaza, inafara de nisip care este putin mai slab realizat ca in Uncharte 3, arata "normal". Dar gameplay-ul este chiar bun si povestea interesanta.

In mod clar merita putin mai multa atentie ca pana acum, cel putin din partea mea

Cum vi se pare demo-ul?

Aseara am avut timp sa joc demo-ul.Chiar mi-a lasat o impresie buna. Jocul se desfasoara intr-un cadru mult diferit fata de restul shooterelor si imi place ca te poti folosi de mediul inconjurator in timpul luptei.Povestea este si ea spusa intr-o maniera placuta.Must buy pentru mine!

Am terminat ieri story la spec ops pe suicide diff. si tot ce pot spune este un joc absolut fenomenalUn joc underrated , care merita mai multa atentie.De la mine are nota 10Mai am 2 capitole pe FUBAr diff. , care pot spune e foartea grea , dar nu e genul cheapTrebuie sa ai multa rabdare si sa nu trimiti aiurea echipa in lupta.
Recomand jocul tuturor.Merita enorm

Unu din jocurile preferate ale anului trecut. Spre rusinea mea, nu am apucat sa-l termin dar cu siguranta va fi terminat.
