Writing in response to fans on Twitter, Bethesda Vice President of PR/Marketing Pete Hines says that the company’s plan is to use Bethesda.net for PC mod support. When pressed further about whether or not they will allow uploading of mods to third-party sites like Nexus, Hines said they will “focus on the game release first and talk about mods when we’ve figured some stuff out.”

Today Bethesda has released a stunning sneak peek at The Art of Fallout 4, a glossy collection of gorgeous Fallout 4 designs and concept art produced by Dark Horse Comics. Below is a selection of 15 pages from the book, which give an inside look at the sketches and modeling behind the Pip-Boy, mutants, robots, guns, and more. They do not appear to reveal anything new about the game, apart from updated designs, but they are an intriguing glimpse at how the art of video games is conceptualized. From the book's forward by lead artist Istvan Pely:"The tip of our creative spear is our concept team: Adam Adamowicz, Ray Lederer, Ilya Nazarov, and John Gravato. Their work is done in an area we call the “Art Pit”: a room in the middle of the art department with walls covered in drawings. Many ideas originate here, born out of lively discussions between game director Todd Howard, lead designer Emil Pagliarulo, the concept artists, and me. Each artist has a unique visual style, and together they drafted a rich and varied world, with every design having personality and authenticity. Our process is very iterative: we start with loose, rough sketches, which are gradually refined into detailed drawings that are then handed off to our 3-D artists. And even after a model is built and textured, we often revisit and rework that model until it achieves a level of quality we can be proud to ship. In these pages, we try to show a variety of images from all stages of this process. As you can see, we carefully consider every detail of the game, sometimes to an obsessive level; this is pretty much the Bethesda way."

Aveți idee dacă există o ediție a jocului care să conțină steelbook? Înafară de Collectors, mi se pare prea exagerat prețul pentru ce oferă.

Eeeh, hai Rasko... sigur ai jucat si alte Fallout-uri... Iti ia poate 15 minute sa traversezi harta (daca nu te omoara careva dintr-o bucata), insa sunt vault-uri, orase, mine si alte alea unde nici dupa 10 ore nu reusesti sa faci ceva cap-coada...
P.S. Ma mira ca in filmulet nu apar mobs, npc's, etc... O fi un test build, ceva?
