Seria Tomb Raider este una dintre cele mai populare serii de jocuri video, ultimul joc al seriei Tomb Raider Underworld fiind produs de Crystal Dynamics si lansat in toamna anului trecut pentru PC, PS3 si Xbox 360. Acum avem parte de primele informatii despre urmatorul Tomb Raider, numit temporar Tomb Raider 9. Acesta va fi produs tot de Crystal Dynamics care pe langa Underworld mai este "responsabila" si pentru Tomb Raider Legend si Tomb Raider Anniversary. Jocul va fi open-world, actiunea avand loc pe o misterioasa insula din arhipelagul Japonez populata de creaturi ciudate. Tomb Raider 9 va fi primul Tomb Raider ce va avea rating M (Mature).
