Evolution Studios Putting DriveClub into Gear at GamesCom - Push Square
While there’s plenty of promise in DriveClub’s social features, the PlayStation 4 launch title hasn’t quite lived up to the quality of its initial unveiling just yet. The demo on offer at last month’s E3 was just 35 per cent complete, leaving the visuals looking more Smart car than high-performance sports car. Still, developer Evolution Studios seems unfazed by the concerns – and it’s already promising an updated build at GamesCom.
Writing on NeoGAF, design director Paul Rustchynsky confirmed the good news, stating that a refreshed sampler will be available at next month’s convention in Cologne. The Runcorn-based developer does have a fondness for making massive improvements to its games towards the tail end of production, so don’t be surprised if the upcoming demo doesn’t blow its predecessor off the road.
