Mie de Dark Souls
New info + video : PS4 RPG Deep Down Gets New Information: Characters will be Male Only; Gameplay Video Now With Audio | DualShockers
- Only male player character models will be available, for reasons apparently bound to the story.
- It’s still to be determined if there will be an option to dash to the side in order to dodge attacks.
- While the Tokyo Game Show demo had a difficulty setting for “casual,” that won’t be present in the final game, where difficulty will be fixed. The difficulty can of course been changed server-side by the developer if needed, like in most online games.
- There will be a story mode, divided in chapters.
- Remote play with the PS Vita will be supported.
- Initially there will be only four weapon types at launch (meaning that there’s one that hasn’t been revealed yet on top of spear, sword and shield and greatsword), but more will be added with updates. The limited number at launch is because each weapon has a very different gameplay style.
Pffff ce "chestie" a iesit din trailerul lansat la prima prezentare a PS4. Prima veste proasta a fost cand s-a anuntat ca e free to play, de atunci nu ma mira nimic.
Eu mi-amintesc ca-mi curgeau balele cand am vazut trailerul asta..
probabil o sa fie un altfel de warframe
Cica s-ar lansa vara asta la japonezi. Momentan nu a fost anuntat ca va veni si in Europa/America.
Inca nimic despre Deep Down, jocul in varianta beta era programat sa apara in august in Japonia.

Back when the PlayStation 4 was unveiled in February 2013, Capcom also showed off Deep Down, a third-person dungeon crawler RPG with a very strong Dark Souls influence. Since then, the company has been mum on the game’s progress. What was once assumed to be a PS4 launch title has now been MIA for over three years. There was no Deep Down E3 2016 showing this year either. Is the game still coming? Let’s take a look at recent news to see what we can find.
Where is Deep Down?
The most recent news for Deep Down was back in February, when a report surfaced that Capcom had chosen to renew the game’s trademark with the US Patent and Trademark office. This is obviously a good sign, as it shows that the company hasn’t scrapped the project entirely.
Reports of Deep Down’s development issues surfaced in February of last year, when Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono told the Japanese site 4gamer that he and his team needed more time. Here’s an English translation of the interview via vg247.
“It looks like Deep Down will take just a little longer. We’re thinking about showing something that looks completely different from what previously shown, although it might be a while from now,” said Ono.
“The ideas we have for the game is much larger now compared to when we first announced it. Rather, the ideas we had before might not have been good enough. Looking back at the previous ideas we had, we were concerned about not being able to capture an audience as we would’ve liked. It was decided to give it more time so that we can further enhance it.”
It sounds like whatever final version of Deep Down we get will be drastically different from what was shown at the PS4 launch years ago. If or when that day comes, you’ll be sure to get all the latest news and updates right here on the BitBag.
