We just announced some big Street Fighter V news today at the Capcom panel here at EVO 2015. There is quite a lot of information to take in, so buckle down and read carefully!
First and foremost, Street Fighter V will feature a brand new service-based approach with regards to post-launch content. With this approach come several key changes to our content strategy:

1. The initial release is the only disc you will ever need to own
2. All balance and system adjustments will be available for free
3. All post-launch gameplay related content will be earnable for free by playing the game

That’s right; Street Fighter V will be the first iteration in the franchise where it is possible for dedicated players to earn all gameplay related content (such as characters) for FREE, simply by playing the game. Long gone are the days of forced Super and Ultra upgrades! Enjoy free balance updates as soon as they become available, and find and choose the post-launch characters that you want to get.

• Street Fighter V*Beta Taken Offline Immediately After Launching

Intended to launch yesterday on the PS4, the highly anticipated beta for Street Fighter V suffered an inauspicious debut last night. Now it looks like it’ll be a while before the beta gets fully up and running again. Or ever get up and running, really.
The game’s servers were deactivated barely an hour after the beta went live last night following numerous player reports about connectivity issues—most simply saying they weren’t able to log in. At the time, Street Fighter publisher Capcom said taking the servers down was only a temporary solution. But after trying to reactivate them, it became clear that many gamers’ connectivity issues weren’t going to be fixed so easily.

Also, au zis ca nu va fi charge character. Parca nici Bison nu era? Sunt curios daca va mai exista conceptul de charge characters in jocul asta.

• Capcom Running Internal Stress Test on Street Fighter V Servers, Promises Details on Official Beta Soon

Capcom promises to update us on the timing of the beta tests soon, so hopefully everything will go smoothly and the internal tests will bare fruit in creating a great experience for us.
