Dead Rising 3 will tie up loose ends from the other two Dead Rising games, a source tells Siliconera. This is the same source that provided us with information to reveal details about Dead Rising 3 back in 2011, a year before Microsoft unveiled the game at E3.

Isabela Keyes a survivor from Dead Rising will return in Dead Rising 3. We briefly saw Isabela in Dead Rising 2: Case West where she has been working on a zombie cure inside Phenotrans. Isabela has been trapped inside a lab for years and she is finally freed when a zombie outbreak spreads to Los Perdidos. Isabela escapes and is searching for a missing element to the cure, blood from patient zero.

Chuck Greene from Dead Rising 2 will also make an appearance in Dead Rising 3. But, don’t expect the story to be about Chuck. Nick Ramos, a mechanic, is the main character. Diego is one of Nick’s close friends. The two characters grew up together and later Diego joined the army. However, Diego struggled during his service mainly due to something from Dead Rising 1…

The demos of the game on display at both E3 and GamesCom have struggled to maintain a solid frame rate throughout their playthrough, appearing to slip well below 30FPS when high amounts of zombies appear on screen.

"We're targeting 30 frames a second," Leigh added, "and because we're based in Vancouver, and Seattle is where Microsoft is based, we're only three hours up the road so we constantly have tech people driving back and forth and they're helping us to make this a very smooth running game at launch."

asta am observat si eu , cand era pe motocicleta aia combinata cu "tractorul" ala, parca incepeau si pauzele la momentul inaintarii printre zombalai. ... incep sa apreciez si mai mult actualele console, cat de bine au lucrat la ele , la optimizari .. pe de alta parte ma gandesc ca pe undeva x86+AMD..

Sunt in mare, mare dubiu asupra lui DR3.
Ce am vazut pana acum e de un fun dement, insa de felul meu n-am fost niciodata innebunit dupa Dead Rising.
Americanii au un fix cu zombies si sunt in delir dupa orice contine subiectul respectiv. Mie singura parte buna pe care i-o vad mi se pare ca joc de destndere in weekend sau la nervi

Dead Rising nu este un "zombie" game, Dead Rising este un fenomen in care predomina umorul facut pe seama aiurelii din ultimul timp legat de mortii nevii, un joc in care vad ca s-a ajuns sa poti construi mult mai multe obiecte cu care poti distruge hoarde si mai numeroase de verzituri.

E genul de joc in care poti sta sa-l joci "mindless fun", sa pierzi ore in sir masacrand sau un joc la care te poti bucura si de poveste.

...a mai auzit cineva de problema framerate-ului in joc? Am asistat aseara la o discutie (pe mIRC) si multe persoane care l-au testat s-au plans de asta. Nu de putine ori framerate-ul a scazut chiar si sub 15

Eu ma asteptam/astept la un 60fps constant...

Adevarul e ca Dead Rising niciodata n-a fost un joc extrem de fluid (eu le-am jucat pe toate si mereu erau am dat de frame drop-uri dar no am zis ca-s prea multe chestii pe ecran si am inteles situatia) dar totusi aici vb. de NET GEN ar trebuis a sa se puna serios pe treaba. Degeaba ai uneltele bune daca nu le folosesti cum trebuie.
