    When it comes to making your way through the detailed sandbox of Tsushima, players will have to rely on physical landmarks and understanding of the world to explore. There are no waypoints in the game highlighting where the next mission is, or where a side quest might be located.

    Compare this with Sucker Punch’s Infamous series which used different waypoints to highlight various activities players can engage with. So if you’re looking for a destination, you’ll hopefully have a good sense of in-game direction.
    The players’ combat choice can even impact interactions with other characters in Ghost of Tsushima. Shimura, Sakai’s uncle and also a samurai, doesn’t approve of the ninja-skills which could negatively impact your relationship with the character if you rely on it too much.

    Another character, Makoto, is an expert archer and could be a powerful ally to Sakai. However, if she disagrees with too many of your actions she could end up turning on you. This suggests there are limited branching paths where the story changes depending on your actions.
    One cool detail for cinephiles is how the soundtrack features music by Japanese film composer Shigeru Umebayashi, who worked on movies like House of Flying Daggers and The Grandmaster.
    Bring on more hype.

    Suna interesant si nu prea. Poate nu am timp sa stau 3h sa caut o anumita locatie/persoana/quest, daca eu am doar 1h de joaca.
    Sper sa aibe si optiunea de waypoint. Nu spun ca ar trebui sa ma tina cineva de mana si sa am un traseu ca'n The Crew sau in GTA, dar sunt sigur ca pot gasi alternative intre nimic si totul mura-n gura.
    Sau poate nu eram atent cand a explicat cineva unde sa ajung pentru ca mi-a sunat telefonul sau a zis copilu ceva

    Ramane de vazut cat de bine e facuta lumea si cum fac sa nu te plictisesti in timp ce cauti anumite lucruri.

    Iar faza cu combat-ul iar este destul de stupida. Adica daca mie o sa-mi placa mai mult o anumita miscare, sau arma, sau stil de lupta, nu o sa ma inteleg bine cu cineva si/sau n-o sa am misiuni/parte de poveste din cauza asta?

    Poate vor folosi artificiul ala cand personajul tau isi spune singur "Xulescu a zis ca trebui sa o iau pe langa copacul ala mare si pe dreapta este un mic rau" Sau...sa aiba dialogue transcript in optiuni si te uiti acolo daca ai ratat. Pe undeva as intelege de ce au luat aceasta decizie, ar arata absolut hidos cu waypoints, depinzand si de cum sunt facute.

    Aia cu combat-ul nu as crede-o 100%, probabil ca o sa ai niste dialoguri diferite, dar nu cred ca va schimba radical cursul jocului sau misiunile cu ei/de la ei nu vor mai fi. (sper)

    Super vesti! Un fel de "Back to the basics of action RPG's" ceeace imi place mult. Sper ca jocul sa se ridice la asteptari si din alte puncte de vedere, ca Story (unde Sucker Punch se mentine abia pe linia de plutire) si Gameplay (nu cred ca vor fi probleme), sau Character Building. Vedem...

    PlayStation Canada lists new Ghost of Tsushima release date as August

    If Ghost of Tsushima is now launching on August 1, then perhaps we can expect The Last of Us 2 to hit stores later this June, when the former was originally anticipated to release. Or this could just be a genuine faux pas on PlayStation Canada's part.

    Ieri pe Amazon a aparut pentru scurt timp 26 iunie ca data de lansare pentru TLoU II (data initiala pentru Ghost of Tsushima). Nu e exclus ca Sony sa impinga lansarea lui Ghost of Tsushima pentru a face loc titlului de la Naughty Dog.
