Cu siguranta vom avea iar 1000 de versiuni "speciale" la culorile controller-elor, asta nu inseamna neaparat ca este si consola alba.
Oricum ma astept sa o anunte in urmatoarea conferinta, mai ales ca a scapat numele atat de clar.

Alt zvon care circulă zilele astea e că în cazul Series S va exista un SKU fără controller.

Ar fi un lucru chiar bun, încă 50 de euro mai puțin plătiți pentru cine are deja controllere XONE la dispoziție.

Da, nu e rea ideea. Ar fi misto sa putem customiza mai multe, gen si daca vrem asta noua si totusi o vrem cu unitate optica, dar fara controller si ar trebui sa fie cam acelasi pret (50 euro bucata unitatea si controller-ul).

The Halo Infinite delay will not change Microsoft’s Xbox Series X launch plans, Xbox head Phil Spencer today declared.

“I’d say the positive for us, both through the May showcase and the Summer [showcase] and the July showcase has been the rise of importance for us in Game Pass,” Spencer asserted when asked by Gary Whitta on the Animal Talking Twitch show.

“AS WE GO OUT AND WE TALK TO OUR CUSTOMERS, IT’S BECOMING A REAL DECISION-MAKER FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE BOTH ON OUR PLATFORM AND PEOPLE EVALUATING XBOX SERIES X AS A CONSOLE FOR THEM.”

“Our investment in Game Pass and that portfolio continues to be strong,” Spencer continued. “We’ve got some more… really great, strong, announcements to come about things… coming to Game Pass.

“What you’ll see from us around the launch of the console, frankly, isn’t going to change too much because you were going to hear a lot about the console and a lot about Game Pass and how we think those two things together are a real great value proposition for gamers going into the next generation.”

Xbox Series X will head to store shelves in November 2020; Halo Infinite is expected on Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X in 2021.

[...] Phil Spencer said that on this past weekend he got to take home the final retail version of the Xbox Series X complete with packaging. “Brought it home and opened it up. I want to have that same experience that people will have at home. I put the batteries in the controller, everything is just as somebody will buy it in a retail story. There’s nothing debug or employee about it”. said Spencer.

Speaking about the Xbox Series X design, Phil Spencer said “On both the GPU and CPU side, these consoles are powerful computers essentially. I wanted a large fan that we could spin a little more slowly so that we’re not making noise. I wanted to make a really quiet console. I love what what we had done with the Xbox One X and the quietness of the console is something we focused on”.

“We built a form followed function design for our console so that we could draw a lot of air with a big fan spinning a little bit slower, so we didn’t get those high-pitched, whining sounds that a console can normally make”. Spencer continued.

Speaking about actually playing the Xbox Series X, Spencer said: “When I put the Series X in place of my One X, there was no more noise than what I saw with the One X and a lot more power. You literally just plug it in, right in place and get such a big upgrade. All my games are working and it sounds just like my Xbox One X did, with a lot more power”.

Speaking about the PS5 design (which Spencer mentioned that he liked) Spencer said “The PS5 is running at higher clocks, so they’re running their box differently than we are, so it creates different design challenges, which is true of both consoles. They took an approach that’s different, but I’m sure they had similar design goals for themselves around what it means to run and how it sounds”

The Xbox Series X Is Just As Quiet As The Xbox One X

Să vină cu 8-10 jocuri bune care să impresioneze prin proporții și calitate, și atunci chiar au o șansă să se bată pentru titlul de a fi vioara întâi în orchestră generația asta.

Nu cred ca va tinde spre 1440p cu 60fps - spre asta va tinde si Series X in multe jocuri, care duc 4k cu doar 30fps.
Parerea mea e ca Series S va fi o consola de 1080p 60fps dar cu RTX si SSD.

Si daca nu va fi prea scumpa, o sa fie perfecta pentru majoritatea.
