God of War: Ghost of Sparta

News: God of War: Ghost of Sparta announced - ComputerAndVideoGames.com

Completely out of the blue, Sony's just announced God of War: Ghost of Sparta, a brand new God of War game for PSP.

Developed by Chains of Olympus studio, Ready At Dawn in "close collaboration" with SCEA's Santa Monica Studio, Ghost of Sparta will apparently push the PSP to its limits with "state-of-the-art visual technologies, higher resolution environments, and greater depths of scale".

SCEA promises "25% more gameplay, an improved weapon system, and new magical powers" in its handheld sequel.

The storyline apparently picks up where the original God of War finished: "Ghost of Sparta tells the story of Kratos' ascension to power as the God of War," reads Sony's blurb.


"In his quest to rid the nightmares that haunt him, Kratos must face his dark past to prove his worthiness to the Gods - a journey that will reveal the origins of lost worlds and finally answer long-awaited questions about Kratos' tattoo, scar, and family."

Plenty more will be revealed at E3, the platform holder says. See the first screenshots below.

ce chestie ... chiar acu o saptamana (nici macar ) m-a intrebat daca o sa mai apara vreun joc God of War daca nu pt psp atunci macar pt ps3 . Eu am zis ca sansele is foarte mici , aproape nule . Din fericire , n-am avut dreptate . Great news . Sa vedem ce detalii o sa primim la E3 despre GoW : ghost of Sparta . Inca un must-buy (if you ask me )

Si chiar daca n-ar fi mai lung decat god of war chain of olympus,important este sa fi la fel de bun ca el. Nu prea sunt genul care sa joace acelasi joc de 2-3 ori, insa Coo chiar ma tinut zile in sir lipit de Psp, l-am terminat de 4 ori iar de aceea mi se pare cel mai bun joc de pe Psp atat la grafica, cat si la gameplay. Daca ghost of sparta va fi peste chain of olympus (cel mai probabil) va fi cel mai bun joc facut vreodata pe vreo consola portabila ( imo ).

Bun Chain, pacat de problemele de frame rate si de durata. 4 ore este totusi destul de putin. Bine, poate fi prelungit prin jucarea pe toate nivelele de dificultate, dar ... sa speram la mai mult.

Arata extraordinar. Ma lasat fara cuvinte ( trailerul ), SIGUR il va detrona pe Chain of Olympus, chiar daca ar veni doar cu o poveste mai buna si mai lunga.

Eu nu inteleg o treaba.. jocul asta e plasat intre GoW 1 si 2 si va dezvalui lucruri care s-au intamplat inainte de Chains of Olympus?

Probabil va fi ceva in genul God of War 1 : In decursul povestii ne vor fi dezvaluite diverse amintiri ale lui Kratos, in care vom primi explicatii legate de trecutul lui ( mai amanuntite ). Totusi nimic sigur, e posibil sa se intalneasca cu Sisters of Fates si sa il transporte inapoi in vremea cand era in armata Spartei, plus zeci de alte posibilitati.
