Patapon 3 multiplayer demo coming next week

Getting tired of your usual multiplayer diet of gritty first-person shooters, but don’t think rhythm games have enough violence and/or eyeballs?Have you been in touch with a genie lately? Because your incredibly specific wish has been granted.The PlayStation Blog sends word that a free Patapon 3 multiplayer demo’s marching onto PSN on July 6. Among other things, it’ll allow you to test out new characters and online multiplayer.Best of all, it’s up for grabs whether you’re a PS Plus user or not.So hooray! Get excited. Clap and stuff. But make sure to do it in perfect 4/4 time so you can get a good multiplier going.

Patapon 3 gets new trailer, website | VG247

Sony is gearing up for Paraton 3′s release, starting with the launch of a new website and an all-new trailer for the upcoming abstract PSP sequel.
The website can be found over at www.patapon-game.com, and has a mini-game which�ll give you a taste for some of P3′s rhythm-based gameplay before it launches.
The website is also home to a code which can be redeemed for an in-game item which�ll unlock special abilities. The US Playstation Blog has the trailer, but we�ve also embedded it below.
Patapon 3 is due out exclusively for the PSP this April.
