We've known there's an InFamous motion picture in the making, with screenplay by Sheldon Turner (Longest Yard, X-Men Origins: Magneto, TCM: The Beginning) and the Arad brothers (one which was working on an Uncharted: Drake's Fortune movie) producing . Now the poster for the movie has been revealed and we should be able to see Cole on the big screen next summer

Infamous 2 developer Sucker Punch has Uncharted 2 in its crosshairs.
Asked whether the studio hopes to match the standards set by Naughty Dog's action adventure title, which was voted the greatest PlayStation game ever in an Official PlayStation Magazine poll, lead designer Darren Bridges told our friends at OPM:
"That would be fantastic. It's a heck of a high bar. That's a high calling, but we'd be fools to say, 'Nah, we're going for ten per cent less."

This generation has seen its fair share of new IPs, and among them stands inFAMOUS, a game that sought to mold a new superhero into our minds without the aid of classic comics or full-feature films. This will include aggressive national television, print, online and viral advertising campaigns, full promotional support, dedicated point-of-purchase displays and merchandising support, broad-based public relations support, and an immersive and interactive website.The lifetime sales for inFAMOUS currently sit comfortably just under two million units, and inFAMOUS 2 looks like it’ll make giant steps forward from the original with improvements in just about every conceivable area of the game. Sony’s 2011 is already off to a great start, and with a marketing blitz planned for such a noteworthy title just before summer, this might be a shockingly memorable year for gaming.
