Update: No Mandatory installation for Uncharted 2
On the boxart, you’ll find a mandatory installation size of 1.7GB. Thankfully, that is incorrect. Naughty Dog has confessed that was a typo. Sadly, they can’t give an exact size of installation, either. They did say there’s a chance the game will not have any mandatory installation, but as of now it’s unclear if that’ll happen. Whether or not it'll be a cache installation like many other PS3 games is unknown. Hopefully, we'll have an official answer shortly.UPDATE: Naughty Dog has just officially stated via Twitter that there will be no mandatory installation for Uncharted 2. Looks like we dodged a bullet.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is scheduled to be released on October 13th exclusively for the Playstation 3.

Co-President of Naughty Dog, Christophe Balestra, revealed that 130 543 players enjoyed the beta in June. Of this number 63% were from the US while 6.55% came from England, just over 4% from France and 1.06% from Germany. Only 1 gamer from Mongolia enjoyed the action while India had 79 players and Argentina 88.

Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo date confirmed; no single-player demo
Naughty Dog has confirmed the dates for the Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo, whilst also revealing that there will not be a single-player demo.
Unlike the first game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will not feature a single-player demo. However, also unlike the first game, Uncharted 2 includes co-operative and competitive multiplayer; a feature that Naughty Dog will be exploiting in a demo before the game's release.
So when will the demo be released? As previously listed on Play.com, the multiplayer demo will start on September 15th as a two-week exclusive with GameStop in the US (exclusivity has not yet been confirmed for the UK, but Play is at least on board so far). By the end of September the demo will be opened up to everyone until the game's US release date on October 13th.

Recently, it was revealed that those who pre-order the game at GameStop will receive the revenge attribute from the start. In the latest Playstation Pulse, host Christina Lee describe what this special attribute does.
The revenge attribute in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is eerily similar to the martyrdom perk in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. You automatically drop a live grenade when you die in multiplayer. The grenade will then explode in about three seconds and kill any enemy nearby it.
