SCEE’s announced Dead Nation will release in Europe on December 1 for PSN.

The Housemarque-made title will release the day before on November 30 in the US.
There’s more details on the game here.
It’s to cost $15 and will have a platinum Trophy. It’s also has a “metagame”.
“We’ll be giving you an up-close look at Dead Nation’s metagame that will pit country versus country in a global battle for high score dominance and the ultimate bragging rights,” said SCEA producer Daimion Pinnock.

The PlayStation Network will be down for routine maintenance from 16:05 this afternoon until 01:00 on Friday morning.


During the maintenance period, users will be unable to access the PlayStation Store
on the PS3 and PSP, PlayStation Network account management and PlayStation
Network account registration.

Signing in to PlayStation Network using eu.playstation.com will also be disabled.

However, those who sign into the network before 16:05 today will be able to
play online during the maintenance.

EA and Blue Planet Software announced today Tetris is to be released on PSN in 1080p with 5.1 surround sound and the ability to play the game with others around the globe.

“EA has developed Tetris on more than 15 platforms to date, and we’re excited to bring Tetris to millions of gamers worldwide on PlayStation Network,” said Adam Sussman, VP of worldwide publishing for EA Mobile. “With new gaming modes, stunning HD visuals and the enhanced audio experience, this truly is the definitive Tetris experience for PlayStation Network.”
Players will be able to play online or locally with up to six friends in all-new game modes.There’s also a “Shared” mode which enables two players to team-up in “a single matrix” to combine efforts and clear lines together. There’s also “Team Battle” which allows two teams of two to play against one another, alternating between offense and defense. The “Battle” mode in the game has also been enhanced with “new Power-Ups for more fast-paced fun”.
There’s also the familiar “Marathon” mode but it now allows multiplayer games for up to four players locally and includes a is new “Challenge” mode, which allows players playing “Marathon” mode or any of the 12 variants to try to beat “replays” of either friends others on PSN.
A leader board will be viewable as well showing regional and international scores. , which are refreshed weekly. Assets and additional press information on Tetris for PSN can be found at EA Press.
Tetris, which has had over 100 million paid mobile downloads, will be made available on PSN next month.

Tozai Games has announced it’s to release Spelunker HD on PS3 through the PlayStation Store on November 23.

The game is an updated version of Timothy Martin’s 1983 game with all the original enemies and terrain threats remain.
It has, however,new additions such as 100 new levels in 10 newly designed HD worlds, more pits, tricks, traps and enemies, poisonous bat droppings, flame vents, geysers, flash floods, earthquakes, rolling boulders and ice slopes, and the ghosts of fallen spelunkers.
Awesome. Just awesome.
The game will contain “multiple levels of difficulty, re-playability” and up to six online in multiplayer.
Upon release next week, it will run you $9.99.

PlayStation LifeStyle � Original Tekken Coming To PS3, PSP Soon

While Tekken 2 has been available as a PlayStation Classic on the PlayStation Network for a while, fans of the fighting franchise have wondered why they couldn’t download the original Tekken. Luckily, due to a recent listing by the ESRB, it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer.
The game that started the beloved franchise has been rated by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable, not only confirming the game’s existence, but that it should be available soon:

PlayStation LifeStyle � Two More PS1 Classics on the Way

Over the past year, the amount of PS1 classics on the PlayStation Store has steadily increased, from few handful to well over 100 titles. And now, according to a listing on the ESRB, that will be increasing even more.
The first one listed by the Entertainment and Software Ratings Board is Front Mission 3:
Front Mission 3 is a turn based strategy RPG where players control characters that are piloting robots. Originally released in 1999 in Japan and 2000 in North America, Front Mission 3 was the first Front Mission to release in North America and was met with decent success.
The second title outed is Metal Slug X:
Metal Slug X is a side scrolling shooter, and is an updated version of Metal Slug 2 with new music, vehicles and increased enemies. Metal Slug X first made its d�but on the Neo Geo in 1999, but didn’t reach the PlayStation until 2001.
No released date was given, but with it hitting the ESRB we should hopefully be seeing these sometime before the end of the year.

Un thread despre jocurile de pe PSN... Ce jucati, ce planuiti sa achiztionati si ce recomandati?

Eu momentan joc 1942. Super joc, il recomand oricui ii plac joacele mai vechi, tip arcade. Daca il mai are cineva, sa spuna sa incingem un co-op!

In 2-3 zile apare Bionic Commando Rearmed, anybody for on-line co-op?
