N�rburgring at Night Confirmed for Gran Turismo 5
Plus, for the first time, gamers will be able to fully experience the N�rburgring, recreating the 24 Hours race, which uses both the grand prix track and the 15.2-mile Nordschleife. It's been a long time coming, but soon we'll know the release date of Gran Turismo 5 on the PlayStation 3.
PlayStation advertisement star Kevin Butler has already teased his next project to be 'Man Furismo 5,' pointing towards the likelihood of an E3 release date announcement and a 2010 launch.
In an interview with GameTrust, Sony Germany's product manager comments on when we'll hear more about GT5's release:
"We know that the fans are waiting for it and we want to release it too. I think that it's more painful for us than for the fans that we couldn't hold the last date. The next time we announce a release date we'll be one-hundred per cent sure that we can hold it and won't make the mistake we did with the March date."
Sony announced a March 2010 release date for the game in Japan, but later delayed its release. So when will we hear more about this supposed solid release date? Sony Germany's product manager adds:
"You just have to wait a little longer until we announce a new date, only some days...or weeks"
He's not too certain then. Perhaps he has no idea? Perhaps Polyphony Digital themselves have no idea? However, we personally believe that next month's E3 will be the time that we'll hear more about Gran Turismo 5. Hopefully the damned thing will make sweet love to our PS3s this year.
