The commission said it is responding to the request and may provide Japan with technical advice.

The last point is not necessarily something bad, but still striking.
- Sony has closed six plants in Fukushima and Miyazaki because of the earthquake. All staff is therefore logically evacuated. These plants were responsible for producing Blu-Ray discs and other products.
- Initial reports that the tsunami has already more than 12,000 PS3 consoles and 5,600 Xbox 360 consoles have been washed away.
- All game events are canceled this weekend in Japan. These were events for games like BlazBlue, Yakuza or The End, Dead or Alive, Monster Hunter 3 Valkyria Chronicles and much more.
- MotorStorm: Apocalypse has been delayed in Japan because the game contains scenes earthquake and it would be really really can be sensitive to several people.
- Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV servers offline by the earthquake.
- Konami Metal Gear Online servers temporarily put offline. They hope thus to contribute their bit to save electricity
- Some game studios, but also anime studios will temporarily stop production because of damage to buildings.
- The game Disaster Report 4 on the survival of that earthquake is a sudden jump from place to place Oct. 86 at Amazon Japan. It is clear that some players try to learn something.
Update: We have more gaming-related messages by this disaster occur.
- Not only is Motorstorm Apocalypse Postponed in Japan, but Sony is also planning to post this game in Europe to postpone.
- The very popular game Yakuza: Or the End, a game that is normally released in Japan next week has been postponed indefinitely.
- Disaster Report 4 (the game currently made such a huge leap on Amazon Japan) was canceled in Japan and will never see the light. The game was already finished and would normally appear later this month. The developer found the context of the game does not fit in the disaster.
- After both servers and Metal Gear Online Final Fantasy XI and XIV are taken offline, more developers will follow their example. The servers of Monster Hunter Frontier, Shin Sangoku Musou and Phantasy Star Universe will be offline for at least one week.
- Nintendo, Tecmo Koei, Sega and Namco Bandai each give tens of millions of yen for disaster.

Japan Earthquake Aftermath - Alan Taylor - In Focus - The Atlantic
I grew up in this country, but I am still amazed at the people's patience and civility. But I also know how they can remain so civil. They trust that food will come somehow. They trust the government and know their share will come. They have faith. The Tokyo electric company started rolling blackouts today around the city. Five areas of Tokyo take turns going through three-hour blackouts in order to save electricity. Commuting is a problem as metros and trains run on irregular and reduced schedules. Some might be angry about the abrupt enforcement of this blackout, but most people stay calm. Most accept the government's explanation that this is better than having an unexpected blackout that may keep you stuck in an elevator or a subway for an indefinite period. Most people seem to agree and are willing to share their burden. They trust that it's for the best. Why Japan will prevail - CNN.comI run to a convenience store nearby and find nearly empty rows of shelves and just 10 bottles of water left. I am amazed that the owner is still selling the bottles at the regular price -- $1 each -- because I know I would pay twice as much. I briefly think about grabbing all 10 bottles, but decide to buy just five, because I know others will need them. I also trust clean water will be available for me if I run out. Maybe my neighbor will provide it, and not the government, but I will have enough. I just trust I will.

Aici aveti lista tuturor cutremurelor.
In fiecare zi sunt cutremure in Japonia, cel putin unul de 6 grade aparand in lista.
