Brandul ramane brand si lucrurile merg din inertie. Faptul ca Microsoft a avut si va avea o crestere procentuala mai mare decat Sony (pe console), nu inseamna ca Sony nu creste si nu detine monopol. Ai exemplu cu AMD Ryzen si intel. Intel inca detine monopol de departe si probabil asa va fi mult timp, desi Ryzen cam le a furat fata la performante.

Si mai ia in calcul ceva. Nu a fost nevoie ca Sony sa traga tare ca sa se bata cu Microsoft pana acum pe partea de console. Jocurile sunt mai ieftine pt xboxdintr-un motiv mie mi se pare similara situatia cu conflictul dintre placile video amd si cele nvidia. Cei de la Nvidia au avut cresteri de performanta de doar 10% de la o generatie la alta pana cand au recuperat cei de la AMD, iar anul asta au bagat crestere de performanta de 50%. E si logic, nu ? De ce sa investesti si sa te strofoci daca faci bani oricum si fara efort pt ca nu exista competitie pe piata?

Eu ma bucur cand exista o competitie reala intre 2 companii, cei care au de castigat sunt consumatorii. Dar eu am incredere in Sony ca va avea strategii mai bune decat Microsoft. Nu vorbim despre hardware, cum ai zis si tu, acolo diferentele sunt f mici sau tin de preferinta.

Inainte era doar Sony si cat de "cool" era consola PlayStation, cu performanta sa, cu grafica, cu exclusivitatile, ca e marca "japoneza", deci automat jucatorii de PlayStation se credeau superiori celor de Xbox. Despre Xbox 1, Xbox 360 si Xbox One se spunea ca sunt console proaste, defecte, inapoiate si ca le cumpara unii doar pentru ca sunti ieftine sau fani "Gears of War" si "Halo".

Da, s-a schimbat situatia pentru ca acum chiar este o competitie pe viata si pe moarte.

Achizitionarea companiei Bethesda, asocierea cu EA, Nintendo si Ubisoft cu Xbox Pass sunt ca victoriile dobandite la Wake Island, Marea Coralilor, Guadalcanal si Midway.
Cand Microsoft va achizitiona Konami si SEGA, va spun ca pentru Sony va fi o infrangere traumatizanta precum au fost bombardamentele americane de la Hiroshima si Nagasaki pentru japonezi la finalul WW2.

Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez – One of the top professional esports commentators, host for multiple fan-favorite games including Fortnite, Halo, Valorant and Overwatch, as well as commentator for NBC’s “The Titan Games.” Mendez recently announced he will also be bringing his comedic styles to G4.

E3 2021 ONLINE PORTAL AND APP DETAILS OFFICIALLY REVEALED

First-ever virtual experience of world’s largest video game event will offer online and app access for all alongside a four-day broadcast
LOS ANGELES – May 13, 2021 – E3 2021 is going online next month, and the ESA is offering a first glimpse at what an all-virtual E3 will look like with details of the event’s online portal and app.

The E3 2021 online portal and app will be a key hub for the duration of the show, with virtual “booths,” hosted events, video conferencing, profile and avatar creation, online forums and more. The online portal, created by Game Cloud Network, HCL Technologies Ltd and Revyrie Inc., will be the destination for all things E3, beginning with a media access week starting on Monday, June 7, followed by public access on Saturday, June 12, the first day of the E3 broadcast.

“From the moment we decided to host E3 virtually, we’ve been focused on providing an interactive experience for fans around the globe that goes beyond the typical livestream,” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA. “The result is a bespoke online portal and app that will allow fans, media and industry professionals to have an E3 experience designed to run parallel to the four-day broadcast, laying the foundation for interactive E3 elements to continue beyond this year’s all-virtual show.”

Registration for access to the online E3 portal will be free and begin later this month.

Beginning on June 12, the public version of the online portal will give access to:

- Exhibitor Booths – Featuring special events, VOD content and articles, exhibitor booths will act as hubs within the portal for key announcements and game information tied to each exhibitor
- Lounges – Online gathering spots for all E3 attendees
- Forums – Special boards for focused online discussion and sharing among attendees
- Leaderboards – Gamified show elements that can be collected and displayed, encouraging fans to interact in as many ways as possible
- Profile Creation – All attendees can create their own unique profiles within the portal and app, which can be customized

The online E3 2021 portal and app will also feature the E3 live broadcast, with interactive overlays powered by Hovercast. The graphics will be interactive across platforms, including viewer polls, featured tweets, and more. The broadcast will be hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, Jacki Jing and Greg Miller and feature major publisher showcases, press conferences, industry panels, extended livestreams and special guest appearances.

Prior to June 12, a five-day long media week will utilize the online portal and app to help media gain early access to connect directly with E3 exhibitors.
