"Set immediately after the events of the main game, Year of the Snake explores what happens to Wei Shen when he's placed back into the Hong Kong Police Department and tasked with redeeming himself.
Over the course of six missions, players are tasked with taking on "a vicious end-of-the-world cult hell-bent on cleansing the city of its evils." Shen's arsenal has been appropriately increased to deal with the threat though, meaning those who purchase the DLC will gain access to new weapons including tear gas guns and electroshock pistols."

Given publisher Square Enix’s volatile temperament at the moment, we’re more than a little concerned by some reports filtering out of Sleeping Dogs developer United Front Games. Apparently, the Canadian studio has been struck by a round of layoffs, following the cancellation of an "action adventure" game.
Seasoned snoop Superannuation picked up on the casualties, courtesy of a collection of recently refreshed resumes. While the studio’s crime epic isn’t explicitly mentioned in any of the documents, the Japanese company singled out Wei Shen’s adventure as an underperformer in a recent financial report. It also said this week that it was making big changes to its development policy. Could an in-development sequel have been whacked in the process?
Not long ago, ousted company gaffer Yoichi Wada stated that the Sleeping Dogs franchise could become one of the publisher’s strongest brands, but with the executive out on his ear, and the open world adventure selling below expectations, the outlook appears grim for the series’ future. The silver lining (if there is one in the whole sorry scenario), is that many of the layoffs appeared to come from the LittleBigPlanet Karting team, meaning that they may be linked to an unrelated project.
We always thought that United Front Games' open world adventure had a tremendous opportunity to grow on next generation platforms. However, regardless of the franchise's future, our thoughts go out to all of those currently without a job. Have a pork bun on us, folks.

Sunt curios daca va arata mai bine decat arata acum pe PC cu acel texture pack si totul pe max. Sper sa nu fie un mare rip off.

Tampenie mai mare decat sa faci reclama unui joc folosindu-te doar de imagini din film... n-am vazut! Mai ales cand de fapt ideea unui "Definitive Edition" este tocmai aceea ca vezi improved visuals, extra features, etc... Cand colo, m-am uitat la un trailer pt. un film. Superb!
P.S. L-am revazut, in speranta ca poate prind un amarat de screenshot. N-am reusit
Chestia asta cu remasterizarile scapa de sub control, pana la urmatorul PS sau Xbox vom fi avut o intreaga generatie de jocuri refacute din perioada 2006-2013.
Si stai sa vezi, ca asta nu e tot. Daca tot le remasterizeaza, fiind vorba de cod x86, le vor scoate si pe PC (sooner or later). Fun fun fun! Mai ales ca pe PC or sa bata apa in piua cu "runs in 4K" (asa cum se intampla deja cu Ryse).

Mda...e genul de joc la care vom astepta comparatii grafice si ne vom uita cu fff mare atentie sa vedem mici diferente.
Grafic, din punctul meu de vedere, este 90% identic, deci doar pentru grafica, in mod clar nu merita.
Oricum, a fost un joc foarte bun. Mai bine "iroseau" timpul asta muncind la o continuare direct pentru XO/PS4.
