WWE Brawl Revealed

It should come as no surprise that another WWE game is in the works. However, the next one might not be called Smackdown Vs. Raw.
World Wrestling Entertainment has filed a trademark application for the phrase "WWE Brawl." Sometimes a company will try to obtain really broad trademarks to cover all possible merchandising options. However, the "WWE Brawl" application only specifies video games so a game bearing that name seems to be their primary goal.
Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that WWE plans to shelve the Smackdown Vs. Raw brand. Brawl could be a separate, new series they're planning.

New Details Regarding Next WWE Game | IncGamers

Wrestling announcer Jim Ross has let slip the first details of the next WWE title.

Writing in his latest blog entry, Jim Ross has revealed the ever-popular WWE Legends will be making a return to the next WWE game.

"It looks like WWE has lined up a really cool, THQ video game for me to work on and that I will likely be broadcasting along side the King in the game where Legends compete with active Superstars," announced the WWE Hall of Famer.

THQ secured the rights late last year to publish the WWE titles for the next eight years and since then we have seen confirmation of a WWE online title with details expected to be revealed at E3.
