Spiderman: Edge of Time announced | GamersMint

Riding on the success of Shattered Dimension, Activision has just announced Spiderman: Edge of Time for a fall 2011 release.

Developer Beenox returns for a second act, as well as story writer Peter David who also co-created Spider Man 2099.

The Amazing Spiderman and Spiderman 2099 come together as you try to �correct a timestream gone awry and prevent a catastrophic future brought on by the early and untimely death of Peter Parker.�

Platforms are yet to be announced, but you can expect it to be released for all major platforms including the handhelds, maybe even a 3DS version. The game will be officially unveiled this weekend at WonderCon 2011 in San Francisco. Be sure to check back then for more details.

First Spider-Man: Edge of Time details

Activision delivered on their promise to bring the first Spider-Man: Edge of Time details to WonderCon. A bunch of information (see below) was shared at the Spider-Man panel, as well as the first trailer. The video is not yet available, but we’ll be sure to post it as soon as it’s released.
