Sony a incercat sa grabeasca procesul pe PS3, dar televizoarele 3D erau prea scumpe pe atunci... in cativa ani vor fi la un pret mult mai acceptabil. Deci HD 1080p si 3D pentru cea mai buna experienta, daca ma intrebi pe mine.

Am televizor 3d (pasiv - am crezut ca-s mai "sanatoase") si crede-ma...in cel mult 15 min ma ia o durere de cap de nu ma vad.Personal zic pas la experienta 3d

E cred ca 3D-ul a inceput sa dispara, nu am vazut ca Sony sau MS sa mai zica ceva de asta la E3, ESPN a renuntat la 3D(nu are legatura cu gaming-ul), nici producatorii de TV-uri nu prea mai mentioneaza asta, au inceput sa vorbeasca de 4K.

Dar ce ne facem noi si celelalte 172 de state care nu primim xbone? continuam sa traim in mizerie? Nu ne lumineaza si pe noi vreun alde Yusuf Mehdi?

Doamne, cat pot sa ma enervez cand citesc astfel de bazaconii. Auzi, trebuie sa-mi provideze ei mie niste educatie ca sa inteleg ca trebuie sa renunt la niste libertati (eu, cumparator de jocuri) ca sa le fie bine altora (publisheri-direct si microsoft-indirect) cu promisiunea ca pe viitor va fi mult mai bine decat e acum.

You know how EA's COO Peter Moore told Geoff Keighley during the post-conference interview at E3 that the games they were showing off on stage were running on comparable dev kit specs to the actual home consoles? Well...that's not really true. What is true, however, is that to get the best performance on home console games, Microsoft made sure that they were running on the most stable system specs available on the market and that happened to be an HP powered, Windows 7 system with Nvidia's 700 series GTX GPU.

Thanks to the guys on the HFBoards put together a nice little cache of information on the Xbox One and PS4, strangely they had some fairly unflattering evidence of the Xbox One games not even running on Xbox One devkits or, as Peter Moore put it, comparable specs...unless, Microsoft is switching from AMD cards to Nvidia cards in a last ditch effort to raise the price of manufacturing the console?

Anyway, Julian Rignall from US Gamers had an interesting Tweet to share, which on its own is quite harmless, noting...



Well, that's just some possible guesswork and speculation from one person encountering an error on an Xbox One and there's no way that any of that can remotely be proven because why would Microsoft not trust their own devkits or comparable specs to run high-end games when...BAM!

Truth be told, none of this should be a surprise to most people given that all E3 demos run their games on high-end PCs; it's a smoke and mirrors circus to sell the idea of the game, sort of like how pro wrestling sells the idea of fighting despite being scripted. We should all be used to it by now and it's just common practice [from most studios] given that the devkits or comparable specs aren't usually finalized at this point.

However, in this particular case it does look bad on Microsoft's end that they didn't even trust to run the games from their latest Windows 8 operating system. As many people questioned on Twitter, why not Windows 8? Heck, Windows 8 is what one of the Xbox One's operating systems are based on. Opting for Windows 7 during E3 seems like Microsoft may not have had the confidence in their latest OS to put on the show they required or demo the games in the best of light.

I suppose the only real damning thing about this kind of exposure is that Microsoft didn't even use “comparable specs" from the company providing them with video cards in their home console. For those of you who don't know the Xbox One will run on a modified AMD GPU that, according to Extreme Tech, is on the level of a mid-ranged Radeon 7790. I guess the 7790 wasn't powerful enough for the Xbox One's E3 games eh? They needed a real manly card like the GTX 780, eh?

I guess it's like that old saying: If you want to dazzle on the grand stage you go GTX or you go home.

Also...poor, poor Windows 8. Even Microsoft doesn't like you.

Una peste alta, mie mi-a placut E3-ul de anul acesta. Sa fiu sincer, mi-as dori ca in fiecare an sa fie asa mare nebunie. Jocuri multe, jocuri bune... noi IP-uri, inovatii, console noi, servicii noi... what's not to like?

Avand in vedere ca deja rula pe PC-uri la E3... nu vad de ce n-ar merge
Oricum, au anuntat ca vor scoate Kinect pt. PC... deci e clar ca vor merge pe acelasi model ca si la Xbox 360...
Eu speram sa mearga si pe PS4 noul lor controller... dar, slabe sanse

Tocmai ce am reusit sa vad si eu prima ora a conferintei. Nu se anunta deloc vremuri sumbre pentru PS3, chiar dimpotriva.

Guys, am si eu o mica rugaminte... cand postati linkuri, scrieti si voi 2-3 vorbe despre ce e in acel link... Suntem totusi pe un forum, nu twitter sau mai stiu eu ce nebunie. De multe ori ma simt ca intr-o capcana... sunt pe 3G si ma gandesc "sa dau click... sa nu dau... daca o fi ceva important?" si ajung sa vad cine stie ce prostioara. Nu e suficienta descrierea din titlul linkului? Daca ar fi fost doar URL-ul intelegeam. Scrie clar siteul unde duce linkul (GameTrailers) si emisiunea (Bonus Round). Sa inteleg ca o sa trebuiasca si la trailere sa explic despre ce e vorba in ele? Doar pentru ca nu face auto-embed la video trebuie sa ofer informatii suplimentare? Chiar pe aceasta pagina sunt videouri de pe YouTube ce nu sunt insotite de nici o descriere. Puteai face observatia asta cuiva care posteaza de regula off-topic. Eu mereu am fost la obiect si nu cred ca vreunul din posturile mele te-a indreptat catre vreo "prostioara".

Postand acel link eu furnizam subiectul de discutie pentru ceilalti, nu neaparat ca as vrea sa iau si eu parte la ea. Unde am simtit nevoia sa spun si cateva vorbe de la mine care sa insoteasca linkul am facut-o.
