According to reports, a new Metal Gear Solid demo was shown at today's 25th Anniversary event. Dubbed Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes, Kojima Productions showed off the demo using the new Fox Engine.

Attendees were not allowed to take photos, but reports on Twitter from 8-4's John Ricciardi and Mark MacDonald said the demo started with a real-time cutscene that went straight into gameplay. It showed off an open world level with Snake killing guards, evading search lights by crawling, and riding around in a jeep. The demo was reportedly running on a PC.
It's unclear at this time if the demo is part of a full, new game that's in development, or if this is merely a tech demo to showcase the engine.

Kojima Productions and Columbia Pictures are bringing you a Metal Gear Solid movie, according to reports. Avi Arad (X-Men, Spiderman), is producing the film.

The announcement was made during today's Metal Gear 25th Anniversary presentation. "For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters - and video games are the comics of today," Arad said, as reported by John Ricciardi of 8-4 Ltd., a video game localization company based in Japan.
"We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, cautionary tales needed,"

The first game on the FOX Engine, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is an open-world entry into the Metal Gear franchise, with even more dynamic stealth action thanks to more complicated play techniques that allow gamers to outwit and outmatch the enemy even after an alert has been activated.

NOTE: Although this game is based on the advanced FOX Engine, current plans are to release the game on current-generation platforms, with next-generation platforms also a possibility. Please check back for official info.

Today at PAX, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima unveiled the first gameplay of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, which he called a "prologue" to Metal Gear Solid 5.
Am cautat mai bine si-am gasit raspunsu .

A fost... superb. N-am cuvinte.

Și totuși, de ce să-l lanseze pe generația curentă ? Pe 360 cum o să incapă ? Iar o să facă jocul mai ****ty ca să nu fie pus pe 6 DVD-uri ? Ar trebui să aștepte next-gen, să aibă și următorul Xbox Blu-Ray și să nu trebuiască să limiteze nimic.
