• Ubisoft Confirms E3 Lineup, Tyler Back as Host

Ubisoft has released a new video on its YouTube channel hyping up its E3 press confernece, which will take place at 15:00 PDT/23:00 BST on Monday, June 15th.
The video confirms that already-announced games Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Tom Clancy's The Division, and Rainbow Six: Siege will all feature during their show. Ubisoft usually manages to keep a few surprises for its press conference as well and, if past years are anything to go by, we can probably expect to see more of their games at Sony or Microsoft's media briefings as well.
We can also expect to see this year's Just Dance, which will be the only Ubisoft game coming to PS3 or Xbox 360. Syndicate and Rainbow Six: Siege are both due for release this year, while The Division has been delayed to 2016.
Will this be the year Ubisoft finally shows off Beyond Good & Evil 2? Who knows, but it's probably best not to get your hopes up.
Actress and comedian Aisha Tyler will be returning to host this year's show once again.

Nu stiu de ce dar am impresia ca va fi unul din cele mai tari E3-uri din ultimii ani. Nu cred ca va veni Nintendo cu NX, despre care se banuieste ca va fi prima lor consola cu Android, dar cred ca Microsoft si Sony vor face pe dracul in patru sa vanda mai multe console! Si pentru asta trebuie sa vina cu super titluri, noi IP-uri, VR si alte nebunii sa ne pice fatza!

Eu cred ca ceea ce are de prezentat MS va fi mai interesant anul acesta decat ce vom vedea la Sony, cel putin d.p.d.v al jocurilor exclusive. Si din motivul asta cred ca vor avea si un boost al vanzarilor.

Sunt de acord cu kobayashi si luciteck, Sony vor incerca doar sa-si pastreze pozitia, vor arata cateva exclusivitati, dar nu va fi nimic mind-blowing. In schimb ma astept ca Microsoft sa vina cu ceva impresionant pentru a creste vanzarile XO-ului.

Eu pe langa astea astept cu nerabdare sa vedem gameplay din Mirror's Edge si noul Mass Effect.

• Microsoft to Talk Windows 10, DirectX 12 at PC Gaming E3 Show

Xbox head Phil Spencer is set to appear on-stage at not one but two E3 press conferences this year.
Spencer will not only be hosting Microsoft's Xbox media briefing, he'll also appear at the first ever PC Gaming Show at the annual event in Los Angeles.
The executive is set to discuss Windows 10 and DirectX 12 at the latter event.
“For us, the PC Gaming Show is the ideal place to speak directly to PC gamers, and it’s a great time to talk about Windows 10 – the best operating system we’ve ever created for gamers on PCs,” Spencer told PC Gamer - which is hosting the press conference. “With Windows 10, we’re bringing the best of Xbox with the best of Windows gaming, and DirectX 12 for better gaming graphics and performance.”
Developers including Blizzard, Bohemia Interactive, CCP, Fullbright, Obsidian Entertainment, and Square Enix are all set to appear, as well as chip maker AMD.
The PC Gaming Show is set to take place on June 16th at the Belasco Theatre in LA and will be livestreamed on Twitch.
Windows 10 launches this summer as a free update for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users.

Eu cred invers. Cred că o să fie cel mai slab din ultimii ani.
Nimic nu mă face să cred invers.

Suntem fix in perioada in care fie vor exploda vanzarile la console, fie va incepe caderea... de aceea nu vad niciun motiv pentru care atat M$ cat si $ony sa nu preseze la maxim. Steam Machines sunt la 2 pasi, DX12 e la un pas, Nintendo deja a dat drumul la zvonuri despre NX. Nu prea au de ales decat sa pluseze in special pentru titlurile care vor veni "later this year" (ca sa nu spun Christmas)... si sa ne faca sa salivam la cele pentru "next year".

Nu uitati ca in aceeasi perioada (cu o saptamana inainte) avem WWDC-ul... si parca vad ca vine si Apple cu vreo consola, ceva (nu aruncati cu pietre, spun doar ca orice e posibil dupa nVidia cu Shield si zvonurile legate de Nintendo NX ca fiind cu Android). Dupa nebunia cu Konami si afirmatiile gen "mobile gaming is the future", eu sunt convins ca atat la Sony cat si la Microsoft cativa au simtit transpiratia rece pe spate... Nu conteaza cat de adevarata e afirmatia, cert e ca multi vad lucrurile in acest fel (si se vede si in vanzari)... ori singura modalitate de a contra afirmatia asta e sa vii cu exclusivitati, AAA titles... sau sa faci probabil cum are de gand Nintendo "If you can't beat them, join them" - asa vad eu ca ar fi acel NX...

Oricum, avem deja Fallout 4, asa ca pentru mine deja e un E3 mai bun decat cei din ultimii ani

@MonkY, partial tind sa cred ca ai dreptate, insa din cate am observat pana acum doar cei de la Microsoft se agita, iar cei de la Sony stau linistiti, constienti ca tot ce trebuie sa faca pentru a ramane lideri de piata este sa aduca in continuare exclusivitati bune.

Sony a si declarat ca se bazeaza pe jocuri de la Third Party ca sunt singurii care fac ceva anul asta. E3 slab, sunt sigur de asta.

pa surse: cica la sony vom vedea si o reducere de pret a consolei si in plus au inceput deja sa apara diverse informatii, vezi Uncharted Collection.

E3 din acest an va fi foarte interensat sunt ferm convins de acest lucru si sunt de acord cu ce a spus kyle bossman in episodul despre E3. avem companii noi prezente la E3 (Bethesda, Square Enix si chiar o conferinta pentru PC Gaming) in plus daca anul trecut am primit doar trailere (vezi MS) sau concept art (vezi EA), anul acesta sunt sigur ca vom primi mult gameplay din jocuri pe care le asteptam cu totii cum ar fi ME.

Several developers I spoke to this story asked to remain anonymous because they weren’t authorized by their companies to talk about E3 demos.
Many creators I talked to shared this feeling: it’s usually worth the pain, suffering, and long nights to watch people ooo and ahh on the industry’s biggest stage, when it feels like the world’s watching. That’s assuming it goes according to plan, which is not always the case.
A few days before E3 2007, Harmonix designer Dan Teasdale awoke from a nightmare. His project, a little game called Rock Band, was set to premiere at Microsoft’s press conference, but he worried it would all go terribly wrong. How? The band-centric music game would be performed live at the event by Harmonix staff and then-Microsoft executive Peter Moore. But the demo had a notable flaw: it was possible to accidentally pause the game while playing.
“It might be worth calling that out to him [Moore], even if it’s only so I can get some sleep before Tuesday,” Teasdale wrote in an email to Harmonix staff a few days before the conference.
