    Computec editor Wolfgang Fischer was on the X10 on the ground to test out the upcoming games for Xbox 360 - and to enjoy the buffet. During his tour of the X10 show floor, he snapped a photo that shows the key assignment of Alan Wake. How far this is final, can not say at this stage, though, we want to deny you these are not. The key assignment for Alan Wake is an explanation:

    RT - Shooting
    RB - Throw
    X - reload weapon
    Y - flashlight charge
    B - Use
    A - Jump
    R-rotate Stick - Camera
    Select Control Pad - weapon
    L-Stick - Move
    LB - Sprint / Fraud
    LT - Boost Flashlight (which is precisely what is meant here, we tell you at a later date)

    Ceva imi spune ca xenos-ul nu e in stare sa genereze imaginile alea in real time, poate un GTX280 sau un 4870 ar fi in stare...Probabil va fi ca si Crysis, cine a vazut trailerele isi aminteste cum trecea lumina prin frunze si alte detalii impresionante, iar finalul, desi foarte reusit, a fost departe de trailer.

    Unele faze sunt ingame cu siguranta (faza cu masina, aia de final, etc), dar altele (cand arata brazii si lumina, apa, etc) sunt randate separat, nu va arata jocul asa niciodata pe xbox 360.

    Daca sunt scene in care miscarile sunt limitate sau predefinite atunci nu vad de ce nu ar exista si elemente prerandate. Intr-un spatiu deschis, free roaming nu ar fi posibil dar intr-o inlantuide de quick-time events tot ce e posibil.

    Oricum, sunt curios ce dificultate vor seta testerii la jocul asta

    LOL. Si eu. BTW, nu e cazul sa faci misto, desi nu testerii seteaza nivelul de dificultate, ei sunt cei care recomanda respectivul nivel. Si echipa ii cam asculta in 99% din cazuri. Daca ai fi lucrat intr-o firma mare de dezvoltare software ai fi stiut ca echipa de QA ia foarte multe decizii.

    Nici nu stiu daca sa rad in continuare sau sa incerc sa dau o explicatie pertinenta. Varianta scurta e ca lucrez la EA si desi n-as fi lucrat aici, varianta lunga e ca stiam dinainte ca problemele de dificultate se discuta intre lead designer si Production Manager. Target-ul de varsta al jucatorilor cat si genul de joc sunt primele "simptome" dupa care se hotaraste dificultatea.

    Plus ca unde mai pui ca la jocurile mari sunt luati oameni de pe strada (cam pe acelasi principiu pe care te ia cineva sa incerci un nou iaurt) sa joci un nivel din joc. Nu neaparat li se cere parerea dar sunt urmariti indeaproape si pentru a li se observa intuitia, reflexele si in general pentru a vedea cum reactioneaza la dificultatea jocului. Poti vedea asta in mai multe filme de Making of care vin cu editiile limitate. De exemplu la Halo 3.

    Nu zic ca un joc nu poate fi influentat de departamentul de QA, ci doar ca cel putin in cazul dificultatii problema e rezolvata dinainte sa aiba ei un cuvant de spus.
