THQ se pregateste pentru o noua licitatie

Cei de la THQ au vandut cu ceva timp in urma majoritatea IP-urilor sale, dar dupa cum stim au ramas cu un IP foarte bun dupa parerea mea, Darksiders. Ei bine iata ca incepand cu 1 aprilie se vor pune la vanzare si restul IP-urilor ramase disponibile, printre care si Darksiders, Red Faction, Worms, s.a.m.d. Sa speram ca nu e vorba de o pacaleala iar la sfarsitul licitatiei, adica pe 15 aprilie sa ne bucuram ca un dezvoltator serios a cumparat Darksiders si de ce nu, anul viitor sa vedem un al treilea calaret al Apocalipsei pe generatia urmatoare de console.

Good point. La Sony sa ajunga si Legacy of Kain pentru ca as innebuni de bucurie sa vad ca se lucreaza la un nou titlul Soul Reaver, eventual pe PS4. Sau poate ramane licenta la Square Enix (parca ei o detineau in prezent) si sa-l scoata pe PS4 avand la baza superbul engine Luminous pt next-gen. Dar ma multumesc oricum si pe superbul engine Unreal 4.

Oricum, crezi ca le prisoseste inca un titlu? Eu zic ca ar fi belea un eventual Darksiders 3 cu superb-ul engine al God of War 3/4

Crytek has confirmed it will make a bid for the Darksiders IP when it comes up at auction on 1st April.

Many former Vigil employees are housed at Crytek USA now. Vigil, remember, was the studio that created Darksiders.

Tweeted Crytek USA boss David Adams: "Going to bid on Darksiders IP. Put 7 years of heart and soul into that franchise, and I think it belongs at home with its creators."

Destructoid confirmed this with Vigil co-founder and now Crytek USA principal designer Ryan Stefanelli, who said: "When the Darksiders IP goes up for auction, Crytek will be bidding for it."
