Anul acesta a marcat editia cu numarul 17 a Premiilor D.I.C.E. iar The Last of Us a fost cu siguranta castigatorul serii. Nominalizat la 13 categorii, jocul celor de la Naughty Dog a castigat nici mai mult nici mai putin de 10 din ele, printre care si Game of the Year si Outstanding Achievement in Character Performance, pentru personajul Ellie. Sam Houser, Dan Houser si Leslie Benzies au primit Hall of Fame Award, dar, surprinzator pentru unii, Grand Theft Auto V nu a reusit sa castige decat un premiu, acela de Outstanding Achievement in Gameplay Engineering. Printre ceilalti castigatori s-au numarat si Bioshock Infinite, Super Mario 3D World, Forza Motorsport 5 si Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
