While North American PlayStation 3 owners can go to their local Subway fast food joint and score early access into the Uncharted 3 multiplayer mode, after buying a special drink, Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscribers in other parts of the world will also be able to join in on the fun tomorrow, on October 5.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is eagerly awaited by legions of PS3 owners, not just for its top notch story that takes protagonist Nathan Drake on new adventures, but also for the impressive multiplayer mode that got highlighted in a special beta stage earlier this year.

Now, Sony is letting PS3 owners get an early taste of that same multiplayer mode, a full month before the game is released.

We already know that North American fans of Uncharted can buy special Subway drinks and redeem the codes on them for early access, but Sony has now detailed how people from other parts of the world can get in on the early action.

"Im really happy to announce that PlayStation Plus subscribers in Europe, South Africa, The Middle East, Australia and New Zealand will get a chance to play Uncharted 3s competitive multiplayer experience before the full game releases on November 2," said Phil Lynch, Sony's European Product manager.

Basically, all PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to have an early taste of Uncharted 3's multiplayer starting tomorrow, on October 5.

During this early access period, players can start leveling up their online characters and key attributes will be carried over in the full game.

Expect more details about this early access period in the near future.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is out exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on November 1, in North America, and November 2, in Europe and the rest of the world.
