Video game publisher SEGA has announced that House of the Dead: Overkill is set to feature an anaglyphic three dimensional mode for all those gamers who are looking to get a gameplay experience that is closer to the feel of the grindhouse B-movies launched during the '70's.

On release day those who pick up the new House of the Dead video game will also get two pairs of 3D glasses made out of paper with boxed copies.

The offer is only available on European markets.

Overkill also has support for stereoscopic 3D, which requires a modern television set to be used.

Gary Knight, a spokesperson for SEGA, has stated, The House of the Dead: OVERKILL Extended Cut on Playstation 3 now features anaglyphic and stereoscopic 3D! So whether you have a state of the art 3D TV or a 1970s home cinema system you can enjoy the most gruesome mutant mayhem in 3D! Bring your own popcorn.

Overkill will be out on October 25 in the US and three days later in Europe.
