Video game publisher Ubisoft has released a new trailer for its upcoming strategy game Anno 2070, showing off some new features and talking about the online matches.

The game will allow up to eight players to compete or to cooperate to create the best cities, will be fascinating according to the developers and more announcements are set to be made soon.

The Anno series has been created to allow players to get a light strategy experience, creating a number of cities in various historical periods, with a lot of attention paid to the architecture and the resource model.

The new game takes it all to the future and will allow players to create persistent accounts linked to the Ubisoft servers which will carry over from game to game.

Anno 2070 will be launched on November 17 in Europe and probably around the same time in North America, with a Mac game also under development.
