For high values order we require a card signed up for Verified by
Visa or Mastercard Securecode, also known as 3D authentication.
3D authentication is an additional layer of security for you and ourselves
when buying online, and is setting up a pin code directly with your bank for
buying with shops such as ours. Most banks do support this already, although
some are lagging behind a little implementing it. You can see which banks do
by clicking the appropriate logo towards the bottom right on our website
(MasterCard Securecode or Verified by Visa depending on what your card is),
and this link will also give you the option to register for the service
directly with your bank. If they're not listed it's probably best to check
with your bank directly in case they do and it's just the link that has not
been updated.
Once you've registered for this hopefully you'll be able to purchase from us
fine, although if you receive a further error it may be down to your card
address details conflicting with those of your bank. So make sure your card
address doesn't contain any abbreviations, includes any necessary hyphens,
and if necessary try with/without a space in the post code. It may even be
case sensitive. Failing that it's perhaps a temporary problem with your
banks 3D secure system or they have your details down incorrectly so check
this with them.
